The Fruit With a Crown
You’re supposed to eat the seeds or you don’t get the experience...
Pomegranates are an ELITE fruit. If you don’t like pomegranates your opinion on fruits is not valid.
This fruit embodies the expression “sabr ka phal meetha hota hai” or “the fruit of labor is sweet” because peeling this is a chore and a half. I enjoy peeling them, it’s relaxing and it’s only because I know the trick to peeling them which I’m going to make my first DIY
DIY: How To Peel a Pomegranate The Right Way
1. THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT WAY
2. You first start off with dethroning the pomegranate by cutting off its crown. - Take a knife and cut straight lines across the circumference of the top so you get a pentagonal shape around the crown
- Gently pry the top off so you can now peek into the pomegranate
3. Now you’ll see the pomegranate sectioned off by white “walls” and these are the guiding lines for where you are going to cut
- Take your knife and cut through the skin vertically into the pomegranate at each white partition
4. Next, peel pack each section that you’ve made and the pomegranate opens up like a flower
5. Lastly, you just take of every section and gently push the seeds off into a container
and there you have it, the proper way to peel a pomegranate
Still trying to figure out another DIY to post, but till then
