After Lalo genuinely believing calling his already insecure Princesa his little pizza after she develops pregnancy acne was a cute thing, I need for him to gain relationship weight (which he finds arousing and comforting on her). I need for him to gain relationship weight and Princesa mentioning it once. And it's a simple fact she means nothing by saying it.
He keeps saying it's the dryer shrinking his pants when they're getting ready in the morning.
"Damn dryer! Look what it's doing."
"I think you just gained a little weight."
"They just look a bit tighter." Princesa puts on her socks. "...You look good like that."
Lalo scoffs after the silence.
Like her, he doesn't like that she's noticed the difference of him. Even if she thinks it's 'good'.
"How much? You think it's a lot."
"...Well, you've been feeding a Bebito, Princesa. That makes sense."
Lalo tries to zip up his pants.
Then the day is him thinking about it. The times Princesa is honest to him. He's not so deep in thought but...he's bigger. Shouldn't be a bad thing, so why does it feel too odd thinking about how he was before? He didn't know there was a before until Princesa had to just come in with her brutally. Funny thing.
He doesn't have anything like a belly.
Lalo thinks all the way into the night, Princesa laying well on him after having fallen asleep on the couch.
He snaps out of his thoughts when his eyes meet a shirtless Nacho in the kitchen.
"I-sorry. Was just getting a glass of water."
"...It's your place in the night too, Ignacio."
Princesa stirs before her eyes blink, Lalo blinks himself when her hand rests on his stomach.
"Go back to sleep, Princesa."
Lalo puts her head back down before she can look at anything else. Anybody else.
