♡⸝⸝ i just finished watching the reze arc so imma give my opinion on it
reze is a pretty character and that's all i can really say for the female characters in chainsaw man. hopefully there's more in the manga so i can say more than that they're just pretty faces. i would love to know what reze's thoughts were like from the moment she met denji to when she tried killing him. i had to make up my own conclusion using the info i got from google ai because the movie didn't tell me shit.
it felt like 30 minutes despite being 90 but i dont want to complain much as ik mappa animators are overworked and if they were given a 2 hour project id cry for them. but i think i might just read the manga. the movie felt pretty rushed and at some point i questioned how i got so far into the movie. is the reze arc just incredibly fast paced or are other movies ive watched just slow? i do wonder, like reze, why she didn't kill denji when she first met him.
and now i must say my reasoning for watching the reze arc, i like reze. that's it. i didn't want to be a larp so i watched it so i could like reze and know about her. but the movie doesn't tell me shit so i have to read the manga. but this actually first stems from my ex who loved the series and i wanted to get into it so he could talk to me more about it. i think he said it was in his top 3 and that goes along with attack on titan and atla?? (unsure, he doesnt talk much abt himself)
so now im going to read the manga, wish me luck. i will think of him every time i consume any chainsaw man media.
note: also found out denji was 16 in the reze arc wtf that's... great.
