I love your designs for Chara + Asriel in your "everyone lives" AU. I like all the characters actually. It's really good!

im so glad everyone seems to like my weird ferret asriel because ive been trying to figure out how to draw whatever the hell he is for the past 10 literal years. idk why theyre so hard for me but at this point the dreemurrs are going to be whatever weird combination of animal comes out of my pen because i CANNOT be googling "goat" and scrolling for hours to find specific head angles every time i need to draw them

helo! im a bit new here but i found out abt this bc one of my friends said they wanted to do a comic dub and that they interact woth this comic a lot so it got me interested. so is this an au? or just a retelling of deltarune with the undertale characters in it (and clover?)

It’s an AU but does overlap with the story of Deltarune quite a bit, however, it will eventually branch off completely.

The blog is interactive and the players (you, the readers) can influence the way the story goes through asks, polls, and comments. For example, through polls the players were able to create their vessel and name it V.

I'm worried that the way this AU is set up can be a bit intimidating for some people who want to participate, so if there’s anything you’re confused on please let me know! I’d be more than happy to answer!

This is part of the reason Chara almost never lets Frisk be alone or leaves their side. If for a rare occasion that the two are separated, Clover or Kris MUST be with Frisk.

But no, it doesn't matter, because Frisk knows that Kris would reset.

So, for Frisk’s eyes, no (though they would be incredibly offended that you would even consider therapy for them…. Despite all of them needing it lmao)... that is not a way to switch their eyes back!

The reason they expected to be dead and never grow up was for reasons before the events of UT. Frisk never planned on continuing to live, hence why they went to Mt Ebott…. It’s just after the jump the players connected to them and are forcing them to stay alive. Chara expected to remain dead after eating the buttercups, so to them, growing up was never an option. Connecting to players and resets was never something either expected to happen.

Dingdingding! Correct, because of Clover’s sudden surge of determination in the vengeance route it helped connect them to the players, especially after they end up in DR. Its a minor detail that's not super noticeable but Clover has red and yellow in their eyes because of the latent determination! There is more that goes into how that happened and why, but that is something that will be answered later.

I have a method but I don't always follow it.

If I feel as though it is something that their canon counterparts would do, I use their canon sweaters. If it's something geared more towards the AU side of things, I used their Fractured outfits.

However, sometimes I draw one outfit more than the other and I wanna switch it up cuz I need variety lol

Most of the time though I follow the method of "Would this be more canon UT/DR or Fractured!UT/DR?"

I meant that for items that aren't necessarily equipped for appearance. Like, if Chara didn't have the glass dagger equiped and Frisk was in the LW, if Frisk took it out of their inventory, would it be the glass dagger or broken glass for them?

Since Chara & Frisk share an inventory, could one of them be in the light world and the other be in the dark world and transfer items from either side to be how they appear in the other world?

It makes sense! Hopefully my answer makes sense...

Here's an example:

Imagine that Frisk is in the LW while Chara is in the DW.

Anything currently equipped to one of them cannot be used by the other. So, since Chara has the locket equipped, Frisk can't access it or equip it. However, if Chara unequips the locket, it goes back to both their inventory, and Frisk can now equip it themselves even in the LW.

The same goes for items that change appearance between the LW and DW. For example, the broken glass in their inventory currently, Frisk would only see it as broken glass, while Chara would see it as a glass dagger since they're in the DW.

Essentially, so long as an item/weapon/armor isn't equipped and it's in the inventory, either of them can use it (even between LW and DW).

Someone else asked awhile ago if, since the two share an inventory, they could use it to transfer items to each other if they wanted.
