So recently I ran a game of Deathwatch where the Kill-team had to infiltrate the Chaos Forge world of Samech and kill some evil guy. I Won't spoil much, since its based on the final chapter of the book "The Emperor Protects" However as the kill-team was making their escape, wounded and low on ammo, I though it would be a good idea to throw a surprise after then - In the form of 8 Khorne berserkers. The kill-team had defeated a Khorne Demon prince on a previously mission, and now was the time for payback for the followers of Khorne. The team had already lost their Crimson Fists Devastator during the final boss fight, and they knew they wouldn't stand a chance in a "fair fight"
The two Imperial Fists in the party sacrificed them self, and bought enough time for the rest of the kill-team to escape - Much to the frustration of the Ultramarine Apothecary, he failed to retrieve any geneseed at all- Muhahaha Favorite Quote of the game: If you keep killing my characters - I'm telling my wife!!! (Crimson Fists players, whom also recently lost his D&D character - again while I was the GM - Muhahaha)
Some men just want to watch the world burn
"There is a terrible darkness descending upon the galaxy, and we shall not see it ended in our lifetimes." — Inquisitor Bronislaw Czevak at the Conclave of Har
Thought of the Day: Go we into the darkness, there to bring the light of faith and the fury of Mankind’s judgement on the Unbeliever, the Alien and the Mutant. War without end. Ave Imperator.

So last time on "Deathwatch" Our killteam stormed the bridge of a Renegade Mechanicus ship, but the Traitor Magos Escaped down to the surface. Eager to catch him the Killteam followed, probably breaking some codex rules when the techmarine "hacked" a Dreadclaw.
And what do you know - The magos has his own Imperator Titan hidden below ground. Luckily we managed to get into the titan before it was powered up. After wading through a few waves of renegades, we finally corned the Magos - Who then summoned demons on us... Needless to say we were all very "YAY" when the Techmarine ripped him apart - Fun times, even if the dice rolls on Roll20 were awful. So quickly the "evil computer" were to blame :-)
Deathwatch - Sure we hate Xenos, but Heretics ain't off the hook
This is basically how our game master feels, when he’s reading our reactions to his posts. Just “srsly, guys?” and maybe something like “oh you are soo doomed.”
So last time we played Deathwatch we got a failing Gellerfield fixed, ran into a possessed Astropath and took part in a space battle. We ended with a cliffhanger with the Kill-Team boarding a Renegade Mechanicus battleship, in their StormRaven gunship - Fly me closer brothers...

I’ve finished building my Deathwatch character, he’s a bit more of a badass than I’d intended to build.
Playing an Ultramarine Tactical Marine, this was after the GM said no to a Librarian. None of his stats are below 40 - which him being a Space Marine isn’t that surprising, but still nice to...
Some Chapters have developed highly formal rituals to mark a Battle-Brother’s departure for service in the Deathwatch. In the Black Templars, the entire fighting company kneels in allnight, silent vigil before a chapel dedicated to Rogal Dorn. “My life is the Emperor’s and all my achievements are his.” –Part of the “Warriors Oath to the Emperor”
“Your honour is your life. Let none dispute it.” –Captain Navarre of the Black Templars “Honour your Chapter and your name shall be remembered. Honour your Primarch, and your name shall be respected. Honour the Emperor, and your name will be legend.” –Chaplain Argrim of the Black Templars

This is terrifying even for 40k levels.
Anyone know where it’s from? I think it might be from necromunda or that pen&paper 40k rpg, but I’m not sure.
This is very interesting. Though, the mention of Komus, and the Calixian Tyrantine Cabal points this to one of the 40k roleplays. I very much like the idea of Komus being a weapon, or a harbinger, of these “Harrowing” creatures. Very fun thought! Maybe it will even influence my Black Crusade game.
Thought of the Day: Though silver in your palms weighs light compared to death by blast and sword, do not shy the hopeless fight, for endeavour is its own reward.
