You’d be correct. It’s hard to win when I’m around. I mean, I guess that’s fair, but I still find that incredibly weird. Flattering? Sure. But what are you supposed to do with that kind of attention, you know? I’m constantly like that standing person emoji, just kind of… There. Not knowing what to do or say. When you say it like that, it feels like the “eventually” is going to come only when it’s years and years down the line.
Well, there’s a certain less play up you have to do as an athlete compared to say, an actress in the public. You’re athletic, you’re stoic, you’re friendly but aloof. When you’re pictured with Mads, or you’re you’re at an event of hers, it’s almost like you have to...perform, play up your ‘persona’. I don’t know, that’s just what I’ve always felt like. I’d say just keep doing what you’re doing, and eventually...years and years down the line...it’ll be white noise.
