It's so cathartic. Once you get in there and find your groove and get lost in your head and your hands coming together to create something cool. I really miss it! But I got a studio recently since I've had a bit of down time and I'm really excited about it. You sure can! You can come over to the studio and we can have pizza and stuff. I've got way too many sketchbooks to go through. That sounds so fun! It's a whole different experience when it's your own work you're in control of like that. There's nothing that matches the feeling of getting to see your completed work. It is addicting, I must admit.

Nothing much. Just been doing some traveling. Hanging out with friends here and there. I'm itching for some excitement. I'm just at a loss were to find it these days.
my sophomore album officially comes out in TWO days, to say i’m excited is an understatement. with that said, i’m also feeling nervous. ‘sour’ was so big, and i’m feeling like ‘guts’ might not live up to that? does it have the potential to even be bigger? regardless, i’m proud of the music i’ve made and what i’ve gone through to get where i am. anyone else excited for new things coming this week?

It's perfectly reasonable to be nervous and taking all that into consideration after your success. Especially as an artist that's sharing parts of yourself you're now going to release into the wild for people to take what they will from. But as hard as it is with all the outside news, at the end of the day, being proud of your work is what really matters. Hi there, I'm Hunter and it's so nice to meet you.
i will never get over the amount of entitlement some people have. i had to get a car towed because they were blocking part of my driveway and i couldn't get in. now they're pissed off at me. psa to all drivers, don't park on private property, but damn sure don't block a private driveway. @cityofdreamsstarters

A furby? Like one of those robot animals from the 90s? What does it do on there? I mean, I like some weird stuff, but there are some things that even I can't stomach. One of the trends is acting like an NPC, and I have no idea how that came to be. It's all confusing.
Those exactly! It's hard to explain because it's sort of indescribable. It's just a bunch of long furbies doing weird nonsensical shit with these little sound effects that just send me into fits of laughter almost every time. Gosh yeah, the npc people are everywhere now. I love that anyone's having fun but that's one trend I won't mind when it dies out.

It basically means everyone loses their minds transitioning into fall and makes bad decisions. But I'm doing that all the time.

art? what kinda art do you do? you have me all curious now. honestly i'd normally always work. if i'm not touring, i'm promoting shit, and if i'm not doing that i'd be writing music. now actually having some free time.. i'm mostly just getting into photography and video making.. it'd kinda been nice lately. also cooking has consumed me a lot lately.
So many kinds! But drawing, painting, and a bit of sculpting, mostly. I graduated from art school for it and it was my original goal to be an artist before all of this happened. But for now, because of work and schedule, I've mostly been regulated to my sketchbooks. I paint with watercolors because it's the easiest to pack and manage while traveling! Although I've gotten to direct a few times and I loved the experience and hope for the opportunities to expand on it. Video editing is so cool!
what's one of your favourite things to do in your free time when you have it? aside from like.. sleep, seeing family and friends -- the basics, ya know? what like.. really makes you excited when you have time off to do? // @schaferofdreams
My favorite part of time off when I have it is traveling and having the time to actually sit down and do some art. I really miss dedicating myself to larger pieces but I never really have the time. What about you?

The anxiety leading up to the release of something you've worked hard on is unmatched. I can't compare to the feeling of releasing a whole album though. Hopefully the nerves and pressure don't prevent you from celebrating all the hard work it took you to get this far. You deserve to celebrate yourself no matter what.
