Ukrainian heavy metal singer Daria Zaritskaya. She and guitarist Sergey Sershen started out in Kyiv in 2014 as Sershen & Zaritskaya, making cover versions of standard heavy metal/hard rock classics for YouTube and streaming. They later changed the band's name to NOAPOLOGY (styled all in capitals), added further musicians, and subsequently started writing their own material and performing live. Daria has grown immeasurably in vocal prowess and stagecraft over the years, which combined with her model good looks has turned her into one of the leading female front women in the heavy metal genre. The band's musical style is primarily an updated version of acts such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Ronnie James Dio's various incarnations.
