Well now you’ve got me wondering. What if something I was thinking about changing is something that people don’t actually think is a problem? i was thinking about just focusing on the people around me, and maybe try and become a better singer or something. Nothing major.

Before everyone starts the new year, new me posts I’m going to new year same me. I’m not even going to try to pretend like I’m going to become a new person just maybe a better one.

I’ve never really seen the lifetime ones since I feel like that channel always has really bad actresses and music, but it’s tradition at my house to watch the grinch and love actually. If you’re going to watch a holiday movie it has to be a good one.

I always thought that when you pray you get put on hold to be taught patience or something. That’s at least what my aunt would say when she went through her religious phase. I just think Jesus would think that even the people you think are beyond saving are worth it since he was a man of the people and such. Maybe you should just pray for everyone just in case.

There are only a few more days left until thanksgiving. While I know I should be preparing what I should say when it comes my turn to say what I’m thankful for, I’m already way too concentrated on all the food. Not to mention that it’s hard to think about anything to be thankful for when my mom has a mapped out route of the stores she wants to get to on black Friday.

Well, I mean, isn’t our whole theme right now pretty much ‘Go big or go home’? If you’re gonna hack someones status you gotta make it worth it. Nah, their aunt wouldn’t unfollow them. It’s like a special code, you have to follow family. Okay, I won’t tell you anymore about how exciting it is, especially when they have challenges. I think it’s just my competitive side coming out. You’ve gotta beat the things to get new little characters, and I want them all. So now you’re an undertaker? I feel like that’s not a good entrance to have. People would be afraid of you. Which I mean I guess if you’re referring to wrestling you’d want that, but for you, isn’t the point to be making a new friend here?

I thought the go big or go home theory was just for the announcement of my arrival, not about whether or not I would be good at updating someone’s status. I don’t think my family follows that special code. It makes for pretty awkward family reunions too so maybe it is something we should adopt. What characters have you already collected? I didn’t say I was an undertaker, just that the Undertaker has entrances like the one I described. I didn’t really think that i had to make a point to make a friend but yet here we are.

You’ve gotta step up your game there. I haven’t played that one. But I have been playing a Disney blitz one. It’s got all the little characters and I think they’re cute. It sounds like you’re entering a haunted house with all that. 

See you would just get drunk with the power and would probably get people de-friended by even their friendly aunt.  I think if I start looking into this Disney blitz game I’ll just go down a facebook game rabbit hole that I don’t think I’m ready for. I think if I want something Disney related I’ll just randomly throw one on but it’s been a while since I’ve watched one. It’s not entering a haunted house. It’s an undertaker entrance.

Huh. Well, that’s interesting. I guess everyone has their… thing? The kind of thing they’re passionate about. At least he has a bit of a sense of humor. Sometimes I wonder how Cooper and I ended up so normal. To an extent, at least. I’m going to avoid saying it and anything like it. No problem. So… are you enjoying spirit week?

Or some people have multiple things. I doubt she’s religious any more. She goes through phases. Being funny can be normal too. You know as long as you don’t try to be clown funny which isn’t really funny anyway. I’m really liking spirit week. I mean someone stole my bucket hat that made me look like LL Cool J but then when they did that it just made me look like a cheap version of Mr. T without the mohawk.

Maybe not? But I feel like every other notification would be things for those farms. Maybe you get to own part of their Facebook in return. Take up residence and update their statuses and things. See, these virtual farms are terrible. It is 2017, there is no room for this. I’m just glad I never actually got into the virtual farm scene. I turned off all notifications a long long time ago. They were not suckering me in. Yeah, no, see, we’re straying away from the spectacle of it all again. I guess that could work. I do have to point out though, that they have fireworks, or well I guess pyrotechnics, which is pretty much the same thing go off as they enter. So you should just go with my first idea of fireworks. Should have listened.

Updating someone else’s statuses seems like a bit weird. Like what if I post that they’re having a good day and they’re really not? I did get into playing bejeweled blitz but that was about it. Excuse you, but flashing lights and smoke machines and eery music had the best entrances.

Even if you just accept one to be polite? What if they hound you like every hour? What if it doesn’t stop at the cows? They’re gonna want you to feed chickens, clear crops. It’s like you’ll be running their farm and your own. It’s like double the work and all for what? They send you a barrel of hay every now and again?  All those clicks, your arm will get tired. I mean, that was a spectacular entrance and he did get the girl in the end, so how bad could it be to try and imitate it? You need permits for fireworks here? That seems a little ironic to me, but I’m still learning. What about ribbon dancers and big banners? 

Are you even allowed to send someone a request every hour? I didn’t think this facebook farming was that complicated. If I have to run their farm and mine I hope I’m getting something in return if not it’ll feel too much like sharecropping. Well I would think you need permits I’m not really sure. I think if I have one ribbon dancer and one banner I can get away without a permit but then I wouldn’t have that big of an entrance. Maybe I’ll just have to settle for entrance music like WWE wrestlers.

Is it bad that I don’t even really know what she does? I just remember one time during her really religious phases she actually said praising jesus was a full time job. My dad isn’t that funny either but he’ll at least chuckle from time to time. Fleek isn’t a thing any more. Don’t say it. It’s not what the cool kids are saying. Thanks, man. Not that I was too worried.

I forgot about the fact that you can’t actually delete a facebook account. Now I have to be really cautious about what I put on there since that really is forever and they like reminding you of what you wrote years later. At least tumblr doesn’t like to remind people what they said because I’m sure that can get embarrassing really fast.

That’s true! His name is Rusty and he’s an airedale terrier so it’s pretty much like boarding a horse. At least if I ever do end up in the doghouse I know that it’s pretty roomy.

Well, and I mean that’s how you lose friends too. You send them enough requests they don’t want and they block you. Great friendships, lost over a simple request to feed your virtual cows. Alright, I’ll save it for once you’ve earned it. You can get a ‘Good try!’ I mean this is Texas after all. Everything is bigger in Texas. Get some fireworks, your name up in lights. Dancers, the whole shebang. Gotta make your presence known.

It’s a slippery slope for sure, but I feel like if you accept the first request then that just opens the floodgates for future requests so really they dig their own grave. Now you’re just making it sound like the entrance of prince Ali in Aladdin. I don’t think I could really do all that. Special permits for things need to not be involved with my entrances even if we’re in Texas.

Yep, and don’t forget you have to check on your chickens and crops in all those farm games you’ve got downloaded too. Gotta make sure you don’t leave it for too long and the crops whither or anything. I wouldn’t go that far yet, maybe a B and a little smiley face that is either actually happy, or maybe just out of pity? I mean, you could have had flashing lights and stuff to announce your arrival. Step it up a little bit.

See, that’s a full time job. you have to send people requests for things, and if you’re feeling generous you can send people gifts. So I get the pity happy face? You can keep it. I’m not really the type that likes being rewarded when I don’t deserve it. I should be taking notes: create a spectacle. Circus tent, elephants, or a runway needed to announce my arrival.
