sometimes when it’s just me and my partner, I say aloud that I can smell them. I get worried about them being self-conscious about their scent sometimes.
but recently, the mental image of them closing up their legs, covering up their pulse points, and applying extra cologne (so that only I get to smell them) is making me forget allllll about the guilt of telling them when their scent is stronger.
similar thoughts:
them rubbing their thighs together because the seam of their jeans is hitting just right, but then stopping to squeeze their legs together because they realize how messy they’re getting (when I’m not there to appreciate it)
them wearing a turtleneck not to hide marks, but to block their scent from anyone remotely nearby (fun fact: necks have a strong scent)
them not washing the hoodie (mine) they keep in their bed next to them so I get to smell them on it when (if) I get it back
