Male Museum Art Nudes

Pictures of male (mostly) nudes from museums and other public displays around the world.  Unless otherwise stated, the photos were either taken by me or are public domain downloads from museums of statues or paintings I have seen.  This blog replaces collegeprof.tumblr.com that was deactivated following five years of male art nudes posts with twenty thousand followers.  There were no pictures of penetration, but too many dick pics I guess. My first post here, of Michelangelo’s David was flagged.  Go figure.

Ancient Egyptian statuette (painted wood) of a standing man, dating to the brief period at the end of the Old Kingdom and beginning of the First Intermediate Period when tomb owners were typically shown without clothes, as a symbol of their renewal before Osiris in the afterlife. Artist unknown; ca. 2236-2150 BCE. Now in the Walters Art Museum, Baltimore.
