Operation Cover-up
I just watched the 2004 movie for the first time in 900 years. It’s way better than it gets credit for. I think because everything has to be edgy now and Thunderbirds was unashamedly made for kids, people look down on it.
Also, Bill Paxton is the best ever Jeff and Ben Kingsley is the best ever Hood.
Plus all 5 Thunderbirds, FAB1 and the Mole are integrated into the plot and none of it feels shoehorned, which can’t have been an easy feat.
Also the fact that Nicola Walker played panhead’s mum 😭😭😭😭😭

Not to make eeeeeverything about hashtagthefandom but after watching Artemis II I can suddenly viscerally understand how the moon landing inspired Thunderbirds… anything seems possible.

Discovering that the issue with Thunderbirds toys is they are all designed to sit on shelves, not be played with by 3 year olds.

If you are using the anon function or side blogs to continue to contact someone who has blocked you, that’s really not ok.
Everyone has a right to curate their online experience as much as they like.
If someone blocks, that’s a clear boundary and it may not even be personal. The only thing you need to do is respect their clearly expressed wish to disengage.

What’s really annoying is that most of the episodes are no longer available on kid-friendly platforms.
Basically on the Amazon Fire kids he can only get S3. And I know they’re all on ITV but there’s soooo many ads.
I hope they put S1 and S2 back on all the platforms.
I ended up paying for ITVX even tho TAG is the only thing I watch because ugh the ads. It’s not so bad but I wish they would put inferno on now.
Ironically Inferno is one of the few episodes my son can get on his tablet. It’s his favourite episode!
I thought if you bought digital content you’d be able to access it forever but apparently not ☹️
Nope. Streaming is actually cursed. I bought all the DVDs but my dvd player is broken and laptop doesn’t have a drive so occasionally I can boot one up on the ancient ps2… but yeah. It feels so backwards.
And you can’t take screen shots or clips from ITVX either… so I am deprived of the amount of life I would otherwise make setting little clips to music and so on. Possibly that is a good thing. But anyways in summary:
Boo streaming. Boo big tech making stuff worse not better.
Yay TAG tho.
It’s an actual nightmare 😖 my kid is only 3 so I don’t want to give him access to streaming platforms. He only has his tablet to keep him entertained in the car. It’s really annoying you can’t download all his episodes to a tablet to watch! I have S3 at least, plus Inferno.
The curse of brainwashing your child into obsessing over a TV show that is now a decade old 🤣

Jeff must have hired at least 1 nanny because I don’t have the energy to go to Mars, become a billionaire, run a global empire, renovate an island, and set up a secret organisation, and I only have 20% of the kids that he has.
