I remember the feeling was like magic

Logic was out the window

I felt feelings from when I was a child, frogs in the night, bright shining stars, days of forgetting about responsibilities

I felt serenity and euphoria in the mountains, the water, the pavement even

I was convinced I had nothing to fear

My chest opened up, split down the middle to expose my my blood, the beating of my heart, me for who I am

It was absolutely magic, powerful magic

I was so free and strong- liberated in the world, I became a bird escaping the detriment of society

I was like a goddess with passion perspiring from my pores

My body was overcome with pleasure. Pleasure so enormous, a dream come true

How had I missed that my whole life

With everything exposed at the precipice of strength, I was brought down
