My Ninjara Headcanons part 3:
He does wear glasses because he has bad eyes. But, because he plays ARMS, his glasses were designed to be implemented into his restraining mask so they don’t break or fall off during matches. He could just wear contacts, but he doesn’t want to. People with the arms ability who don’t play ARMS usually just wear their glasses over their masks.
His glasses sometimes fog-up when he gets punched in the face with an ARM with the ice attribute, especially in humid places like the Temple Grounds.
He has an unexpected taste in music, surprising and confusing people when he puts on his favorite tunes.
He dislikes extreme cold or being in the hot sun because his arms retain temperature. He dislikes summer more than winter though because of the mosquitoes. When he was little, during winter, he probably at least once got his tongue stuck to his arm because of the cold.
Since his arms are made of metal, he can’t receive needles in them. When he needs a shot, the syringe has to be inserted somewhere other than his arms.
When he claps, he has to do it very gently or else it just makes a horrible metal clanging noise that annoys everyone. Alternatively, he can do it deliberately to deter people annoying him by making horrible squeaking sounds by rubbing his fingers together.
Despite the set-backs of having metal arms, he is proud of them and lets them define part of his identity. In the game, just like how Spring Man occasionally says things like “Boing!”, we can hear Ninjara say “Jara” (”Jara” is the Japanese onomatopoeia for rattling chains, I can’t just assume everyone knows this). It’s evident he says it every once in a while when he wins or loses, as well as when he performs a dunk in Hoops. He clearly allows his chains to be a part of who he is, and seems to embrace it.
