I need the Heated Rivalry fandom to get serious for a second: there is no reality where in 2026 in Trump's America anyone is orchestrating a fake PR relationship between two men like let's be serious for a minute. In a violently homophobic country? Where people in the public eye still hide in the closet? Where the industry typecasts and limits queer actors? Maybe François and Connor did date, maybe they didn't, but don't insult your intelligence by believing anyone with any PR background would suggest a fake queer relationship between two men, one of them not even publicly out.
