Clouded funnels (Clitocybe nebularis)

This is the edge of the LARGEST fairy ring I’ve ever seen at about 4 metres in diameter, which my friends and I found ourselves in the middle of. This isn’t so unusual for clouded funnels, which are often found in fairy rings. They’re lovely toadstools, with their chunky stems and clouded, almost lightly fuzzy caps, which on occasion can have a blueish tint. 

Once thought edible, this mushroom is now considered poisonous, and while not deadly it can cause pretty bad stomach upsets.
