i think your take on the sage situation is very true that time will tell if sage is a child predator etc. we (the community who are bystanders) cant know for sure whats 100% true but a lot of the allegations are obviously true, some just can’t be known for certain and id like to see if anyone’s opinions change when the official document comes out.

adding on, i saw that in mochas parlour someone did ask if any allegations of moderators will be talked about and cross did say theyre unsure for now which makes me think that most of the allegations wont be talked about (excluding sage) and if so none of the allegations will be talked about. i’m just presuming this due to the fact theres also allegations about the admins as a whole bejng bad people but don’t take this too true becsuse i’m just remembering other anons responses from other accounts etc. 🧁 this is just my 2 cents to whatever’s happening, i don’t support chococritters personally but i’ve been in there for a bit and almost all of the moderators — old , new — are assholes and habe allegations.

not only did you BLOCK the victim who came forward to you trying to have a voice when they had no where to go, you said the allegations were FAKE??

I didn't block the victim who came forward, they deleted their account (as far as I could tell). I told the user at the time that I have listened to both sides and was unsure how to move forward as both sides had equally good arguments, so the user deleted their account (appeared as unused/cleared) a few days after the fact. I deleted my own account a few days later.

I didn't move forward with a for or against, since that wasn't my place. Sage had told me that the moderators/admins knew they were Cider via a voice note (which I no longer have access to due to deleting the account). Due to that and lot of personal issues shared, I wasn't able to be for or against the situation, since I assumed the entire staff team were aware of the situation and believed Sage over the victim. I don't hold any power in a situation like that, especially given the size and power of the team.

Were you close friends with spiral? if not mod cc maybe?

I wasn't a moderator in CC, nor was I close with Sage. However, we did have a brief conversation or two (with the occasional "How are you?"s) and were considered a step above acquaintances but not necessarily friends. I have been a moderator in a few servers, but none that are of note or related to any form of controversy (except one), thankfully. Those tend to stay under the radar.

This is my personal opinion of the sagespiral situation.

I have zero proof of this, so take this how you will.

On my previous blog, emote-community-confessions, where I was most well known prior to its deletion, Sage had reached out to me privately, and I had messaged them on an alt account on Discord.

They admitted, in a voice note, that they were Cider.

However, at the time, a lot of reports came through and Sage was adamant it was a smear campaign and to cut contact with all users confessing/sharing information/etc.

It had gotten to a point where Sage and the CC staff had made me feel threatened to the point of deleting my blog, because, previously, I felt safe enough to let them know who I really was.

That was a mistake that I will not make again.

I eventually deleted my main account (which they know/knew of, and are free to slander me if they read this—I do not care) and no longer associate myself with anyone within that server. I do have an alt account to keep track of important things like this, but for obvious reasons, I won't share it.

The (alleged?) victim at the time (or someone close to them) was the one who reached out to me in the first place. I was originally apprehensive, but posted the anon ask because I wasn't sure if it held any ground and to see if anyone else had opinions, because that was the point of my previous blog.

I don't know which side to believe.

Is Sage a child predator? Is this all a smear campaign? Why release a "response" before the document is released?

Time will tell.

I understand that not much was said above, but it's all I know and was a part of in the situation. I did read a lot of screenshots, including ones referenced in announcements in multiple emoji creator servers. It was a horrible read, the screenshots are often disgusting, and I feel awful because it's difficult to tell who's being honest and who's saving face.

However, if it is true, I am beyond disgusted. I am not in any way defending Sage, especially with the allegations against them. I will never support someone who has received claims like this.
