The Blue Star Lodge was countersigned, formally read and given to the facilitators.
Healing on the Holy Arabia Mountain
Recent Mass at the "Chapel of the Gnosis"
Greetings,
I thought it might be helpful to share a few words about Ormus Lodge regarding the nature of the organizational model we have adopted as well as indicating some of the principles which are important to us as a philosophical and research lodge aligned with Free Illuminism. It is my hope that this letter will provide a clear and true reckoning so that anyone who approaches us with an interest in affiliation will be doing so with an informed understanding. It is more important to the lodge to have a few suitable members who feel this is a good match than to have lots of members who don’t really understand where we are coming from or who seek affiliation for spurious and/or misguided reasons. We are open and welcoming and have a public presence but we are not evangelical. We don’t want to waste your time (or ours) if you find that another type of organization is more to your liking.
Nonhiearchical
Ormus Lodge is nonhierarchical. By this we mean that our lodge places value on the principle of equality. We affirm the sanctity of all life and of the environment which nourishes and sustains us. We do not discriminate based on gender, creed, religion, sexual orientation, class, race or cultural background. We do not have any privileged ranks or grades/degrees within our lodge. We function more like a collective or cooperative where each member’s voice is given due weight and consideration. We do have three “facilitators” of the lodge. The role of a facilitator is to aid in the process of group decision making, keeping discussions on topic and ensuring that a steady stream of activity, mutual pursuits and explorations are offered within the lodge.
Experimental
Ormus Lodge is experimental. By this we mean that our lodge is both exploratory and open-ended. We are not a “closed system”. We affirm the ever curious nature of consciousness to seek, to learn, to test, to question and to rejoice in the beauty and wonders of the universe. Research, documentation and peer review of collected data are highly encouraged .
Free Illuminist
Ormus Lodge is Free Illuminist. By this we mean that our lodge is one of the nodes in the network of other diverse groups and individuals who have voluntarily joined together to work in mutual support of each other under the banner of Free Illuminism, aka Congregational Illuminism. We affirm and uphold the following four principles as shared by many who self identify as Free Illuminists
1. Spiritual growth is incompatible with authoritarian structure.
2. Scientific Illuminism requires a non-dogmatic, experimental approach.
3. A free society linked in free communion should be actualized.
4. We facilitate, we do not lead. We do the Work, we do not extract oaths or dues, or require dogmatic beliefs.
Esoteric
Ormus Lodge is esoteric. By this we mean that our lodge explores the inner aspects of nature, consciousness and the universe and not just externals. We affirm that things are not always as they appear to be. Sometimes we must dig deep to access hidden vistas of gnosis that may be obscured by attachment to the status quo or stunted by an unwillingness to peer behind the veil. Without dismissing accepted knowledge out of hand, we doggedly pursue an ongoing search for more Light.
Nonsectarian
Ormus Lodge is nonsectarian. By this we mean that our lodge is not limited to any one particular worldview, spiritual path, religious creed or magical tradition. We affirm the right of all peoples of good will and sincere intent to join with us in pursuit of the Great Work.
Principled
Ormus Lodge is principled. By this we mean that our lodge values honor, respect, individuality, creativity, compassion and diversity. Without being uptight or prudish, we do not tolerate narrow mindedness, bigotry, racism, sexism or any unethical behavior within our lodge or within the extended communities we are part of. We affirm and celebrate the life and liberty of each individual skilfully balanced with an awareness of our impact on each other, nature and society as a whole.
Taken together, I hope that the above six points will aid those who have an interest in Ormus Lodge towards understanding our basic orientation, as well as serving as a reminder for those who are already part of this community of seekers.
If you are in or around the Atlanta area, and you feel this might be a good match for you, we welcome your contact. If you click the link below it will provide our email address.

ESHU LODGE
Eshu Lodge is a research and experimental group for like-minded persons of an esoteric bent. It was duly chartered and consecrated by Tau Palamas, on January 3rd, 2013. The Lodge charter holder is Brother Ariel. Eshu Lodge’s mission will be to disseminate the light of the Gnosis, in a contemplative and intiatory manner to those whom desire it.
Seeing the stifling of the spirit that occurs in many dogmatic and top heavy esoteric orders, Eshu Lodge will work within the framework of Congregational Illuminism; where no person is of a higher rank than another. This ensures that petty drama, politics, and the establishment of pecking orders, do not get in the way of the work. Eshu Lodge believes that initiation is an individual affair, and no initiation is the same for everyone, and also, that each individual carries within him or herself all of the potential for spiritual awakening / awareness.A candidate’s advancement in the Lodge will be entirely dependent on his or her own abilities and desire.
Our job at Eshu, is simply to give the individual the tools to discover and activate this awakening in their daily lives. Therefore, initiation is specifically tailored to the individual, his or her prior experience, and or comfort level. Eshu Lodge will not be physically conducting the degree of Memphis-Misraim in the traditional manner. Rather, the degrees will be given via study and meditation of the rituals, activation of “Points Chauds,” or “Hot Points” and Consecratory, Talismanic empowerment.
In summary, Eshu Lodge will be working in the spirit of the Jean-Maine currents and spirits of Voudon Gnosis and Memphis-Misraim. It is our hope that Eshu lodge will be a beacon of light in the darkness for a long time to come!
There is certainly quite a bit that we can learn about the Ancient Egyptians through Historical and Archaeological research…but to truly get to know her, we must delve into the living stream of Initiation where her secrets remain intact and passed down from generation to generation in a never ending march towards the Light!

A complete write up of the goings on of the Kiaists that met for our international retreat at Loch Ness, Scotland, with some participants travelling from as far away as Warsaw, Poland.
In the Grand Orient d’ Haiti, various bodies unite during St. Johns Day for a mystical and deeply Theurgical Ceremony concluding with the burning of the Ark pictured which contains the prayers of the people. At this spiritual gathering there are Elus Kohens, Martinists, Freemasons, Reaux+Croix, Knights Templar, etc., joining together in the Chain of Union. In the words of Brother David, the Anthropological Mason (see Source);
“The Ark is lit by a single flame. The brethren join in a very large chain of union that takes on a motion and song with a crescendo like finish after many spirited circumambulations in fervent unity.”

Manifesto
The manifesto of KIA as originally proposed by Anton Channing prior to the actual ritual to mark the birth of the new group, then known as the Kaotic and Illuminated Adepts.
No hierarchy whatsoever, any initiation is optional and based on individual requirements as there are no grades of any kind, no dues and absolutely NO obligation.
Everyone is entitled to a full members list (to make this possible a minimum amount of contact details should be provided, of email, town/city and country. Postal Address and/or Phone number optional unless no email address provided). Post Boxes with Aliases are fine.
Any member is free to invite/exclude any other member to anything they personally organize. Those that organize a meeting may invite non-members, however this should be made clear to members who are also invited.
Any member may leave whenever they want, although no-one may ever be forced to leave. It is enough that members you don’t personally like won’t be invited to things you don’t want them to be.
It is our wish that this structure will make for an individualistic, non-hierarchical organization, capable of forming meetings on local, national and international levels.
These principles remain key to KIA in spirit, although a couple may seem dated in detail. For example an actual list of contact addresses seems redundant in this age of internet proliferation, whereas even at the turn of the millennium there remained large numbers of people, even in industrialised nations, without internet access.
“The parts of the body reflect the structures of the gnostic hyperspaces. In fact, these hyperspaces and logics are reflections of the body, in the meditation process. There being in the body (or connected and associated with the body) specific logical systems means as a matter of understanding that the higher worlds are present by their total immanence in the body. The gnostic body becomes a perfect map or network of the ideal and perfect or abstract and logical worlds of being.”
p. 167, Voudon Gnostic Workbook, +Michael Bertiaux
An Esoteric form of Freemasonry persists in the spiritualized Ecclesiastical Revision of 1921, Antient and Primitive Rite of Memphis+Misraim. This Order works In Free Communion across the globe using the Points Chaud system of empowerments aligned to the 97 Degrees. Due credit is given to +Michael Bertiaux and T Allen Greenfield for the development and popularizing of this mystical approach. Each Lodge, Node and Temple has ample room for original experimentation with the work, and to develop the precise method of Initiating these points to suit one’s own ritual preferences and tastes.
