Capacity crowd bursting at the seams last night at CONJURING WONDER at the Prescott Hotel in San Francisco. #gonnaneedabiggerboat
Back entertaining for one of my favorite clients in Napa.
The evening begins with champagne, light hors d'oeuvres, and casual magic.
We then move to the "wine library" for a meal prepared by our hostess, which includes Escargot en Croute, followed by Cod and Shrimp Quenelle, then Roasted Squab, Morel Mushrooms, and Spring Garlic Risotto. Topped off with a Mandarin Sorbet with Candies Mayer Lemons and Pistachio Chocolate Bark.
To cap the evening, guests return to the living room for a presentation of Conjuring Wonder.
All in all, a delightful evening of great company, food, wine, and magic.
April Fool's at Peep Show
Brought THE WONDER to Ken Fulk’s Peep Show, in San Francisco, for his April Fool’s Bash.
Guests were invited to join me at a table and experience magic up-close & personal. One of my favorite ways to perform!
Read more about the event here.
Highlights from my most memorable moments in 2013. Thanks for a great year and see you in 2014!
Brought THE WONDER to the grand opening of a private club in San Francisco. Spent the evening in a secret room -- accessed through a sliding bookcase -- entertaining a very well-heeled crowd. I love my job.
Ready to go on in Fairfax. Magic al fresco.
3 Weeks. 3 Trips.
Got a call from one of my favorite NYC agents and DMCs for a huge Incentive Event. St. James Place would fly over 900 of their employees from England to experience NYC for three days. "Opening night" was at The Plaza hotel on 59th and 5th Ave.
We took three trips across country over the three weeks to share The Wonder with them!
NRG Solar Holiday Party
Had a lovely time early this week at NRG Solar's Holiday Party.
I mingled with about 30 guests for an intimate reception in the private room at Piatti Restaurant, in Mill Valley. I love last minute bookings. We always have a blast!
Thanks to my lovely hostess, Savannah, and the folks at NRG Solar for a great evening!
Reading Minds for Chevron
Entertained at a holiday luncheon for Chevron's IT group on December 12th.
The event took place at Crow Canyon Country Club in Danville. Began with a bit of walk-around magic while guests arrived then a 45 minute mentalism performance after lunch.
Right from the start I could tell this group was up for a good time and they didn't disappoint. One of my best sets!
Intel Holiday Party
Was invited to perform at Intel's holiday party in Sacramento on Saturday.
The event took place in the Grand Ballroom of the Doubletree Hotel and was attended by about 150 employees and their spouses. After their dinner, I performed a 45 minute mentalism program from the stage.
Will be cutting some video from the evening and posting soon. Stay tuned!
My First Start Up
One of my first gigs as an official resident of the Bay Area -- formal close-up for Joe Fernandez's birthday at Klout.
There is more then one correct way to assemble the parts of a bicycle. If you make a bicycle, that is craft. If you make a "bulls head," that is art.

Fighting The Good Fight
Teller - the smaller, quieter half of Penn & Teller - fights to protect his idea.
Good magic, like all art, is a celebration. It celebrates mystery and wonder and the irrefutable fact that we do not know all the answers and that often it is sufficiant to simply know the questions. The purpose of the magician's performance is, for a brief period, to reinvest life with a sense of mystery and wonder and strangeness. That is a great NEED and it is taken away from most of us at a very early age.
