Continuous Cities

An investigation of the world around me: an image a day to create a slowly evolving picture. A few types of posts occur here: 1. a photo I have taken of the world around me (or occasionally that my perpetual collaborator poet wife, Colleen Abel, has taken or been asked to take); 2. a gift image from another visual traveller, credited in the entry title; 3. a "random" image that comes back to me from the internet when I associationally search for that day. 4. an image of artwork, in-progress or in-situ. please enjoy.

the trip begins: aboard the Metra and 'L'

and a brief stop in the swanky new International Concourse restaurant area:

onward, oh night flight!

landing in the morning to the grit of Dublin:

followed by the sweet songs played in the Drawing Room and a spot of tea overlooking the back garden at the Hotel:

Oh, the luxury.

Too short a stay in Dublin, passing through the airport one more time en route to Belfast:

walking through history at the  Ulster Museum:

Before leaving, remembered to stop to smell the hyacinth at the Botanic Gardens

then flew back home.
