The trio of ancient Chinese deities of “Tianzi Hotel” in Hebei, China

The men are modeled to resemble three Chinese gods from the Ming dynasty.

Each deity represents an attribute that is needed for a good life. On the far left is Shou. Jolly, white-haired with a staff in one hand & a peach in the other, represents longevity. His star sign is the South Pole which is believed to control life spans. In the middle stands Fu. He is robed in red & is associated with Jupiter & fortune. On the far right is Lu. The green-clad god represents prosperity, rank, &influence.

This unusual structure called the “Biggest Image Building” by the Guinness World Records. Located in Langfang, China “Tianzi Hotel” represents “The good life.”

Mural "Arsenal" - Rue Anatole France - Brest - France

Murals on the right bank “When the walls speak” in Brest – France | The area concerned is located around Anatole France street, a long artery that crosses the districts of Recouvrance and Les Quatre Moulins. Sponsored by the Brestois singer-songwriter Christophe Miossec, the project currently includes 11 mural frescoes with that of the Quatre-Moulins (with a first realization in 2004) with evocative names of the Brestois identity: the Trip, the Writings, the Arsenal, Botany, the Tavern, Oceanology, Music, Brest seen from the sky

Street Art in La Ribera | Bilbao, Basque Country in Spain , May 2009. | maymonides

The Basque city of Bilbao is becoming well known for its creative street art scene, of which there are pockets all over the city. A city so entwined with art and design, and home to one of the world’s most famous modern art museums – the Guggenheim – it’s not surprising that urban art has definitely got a strong foothold here.

Ribera de Deusto

Ribera de Deutso is the area located around Bilbao University, so it’s not surprising that it’s become a hotbed for street artists with it’s young and hip vibe. You’ll find a wide variety of street art here, housed in abandoned warehouses, around street corners and on bridges.

Frida Kahlo Street Art in Buenos Aires, Argentina

Campos Jesses finished a striking new mural of Frida Kahlo on Friday in Palermo, Buenos Aires. Buenos Aires Street Art has exclusive photos of their new mural finished two days ago.

The mural took the collective of three artists – Julián Campos Segovia, Jean Paul Jesses and Juan Carlos Campos – three weeks to paint using paint brushes and latex paint.

Tribute to the iconic Mexican painter holding cigarette with flowers in her hair. The head of Frida is made from a wooden panel attached to the wall.

Frida's mural is located at Dorrego and Cabrera at Palermo in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Bart Smeets, better known in art world as Smates, is a Belgian street artist who was born 1978 in Asse. Bart has always been a fan of realistic drawings and paintings. Specialized in photorealistic art, he always tries to create something that fits the wall or plays with depth and perspectives.
