Combine ingredients in jar as desired. Keep near your bed or desk. Whichever place you spend more time.
I need to make this and discreetly place it on my work desk.
Eggshell candles are a great idea for an Ostara decoration, and so easy to do. They look great around your home, or on your altar, they also float on water. Instructions are below. You will need: - eggshells - food dye - vinegar - paper towel - egg carton - soy candle wax, bees wax or just normal candles to melt - candle wick with metal tab - wooden skewers or chop sticks. 1. Clean your eggshells in some soapy water and rinse and leave to dry. 2. Place a few drops of food dye into a bowl of vinegar. One bowl for each colour. Place your eggshells in the dye bath and roll them through the dye for about 30 seconds. Keep the eggshell in the dye for longer if you want a stronger colour. You can use a spoon if you don’t want to colour your fingers. 3. Dry your coloured eggshells on some paper towel. Place dried eggshells into an egg carton. 4. Cut a piece of wick to 10cm in length and thread it through your metal tab. Secure the metal tab & wick to the bottom of eggshell using some melted candle wax. Tie the pieces of wick to a wooden skewer to keep the wick out of the wax. 5. Melt some candle wax, always do this using a pan of water then melt the wax in a smaller container in the hot water, never put candle wax straight into a pan as it can explode from the heat, but it is very safe by melting over boiling water like in the image. You can melt down normal candles, or you can buy bees wax, soy wax or any other kind of candle wax. 6. Pour the melted wax into the eggshells as carefully as possible. Use a funnel if you have one. 7. Leave your eggshells to dry for a few hours and once the wax is hard you can remove the wooden skewers and trim the wick. 8. That is it, you can put them where you want, you can make a little basket with hay in it to put them in, or put them into egg cups, they will also float on water. If you are not comfortable melting wax, you can use small tea light candles and put them inside the egg, you will need to make the egg gap to put them in big enough.

so im fairly new to paganism and i want to start learning more about the areas i know less on, are there any sources you recommend to learn how to cast circles and cleanse stones and crystals?

Need Cat Spell...wait..what?
Kayy, so this is gonna sound ultra silly. And I am very, very serious about paganism and such, so my request will seem way out of terms.
I need a spell to convince/ persuade my parents to let me have a kitten. Our shelters are over-flowing and I want to give one a lovely magickal home, as my familiar and companion.
Things to Think About Before Adopting Your Magickal Cat/Kitten:
As a fellow pagan, cat owner and familiarist, I have a few tips for you before hand.
Cats are highly rewarding, loving, helpful and emotionally involved creatures. But having a cat is not easy, as they need alot of training, care and are often very free-thinkers (especially familiars, they will get away with murder just because you let them). You want to make sure before you get your new kitty that you’re ready and willing to play with hir at least once a day, spend time petting and loving hir, giving hir space when ze wants it, feeding hir a healthy diet and on a regular schedule, taking hir in for check ups and brushing hir when ze sheds the most (spring/fall time) to keep hir happy and keep your carpets hair free. And of course, make sure you’re willing to put up with any weirdness ze might have.
On the pagan side of things, familiars are fantastic. Oskar helps me with most all of my rituals and is by far the most involved cat I’ve ever met in my entire life. He sits with me when I meditate, he doesn’t get in the way and he’s very receptive to most all energy work. He feels me and I feel him. And that’s important. When picking our your new cat/kitten, don’t just pick the one you think if the cutest/most playful and take hir home. You want to interact with many of the cats there and find the one that you just click with. I remember picked Oskar up for the first time, it was like I found the other half of my soul. Hopefully you can find a connection like that, or at least find the kitten that is the most connected to you. A calm, quieter kitten or even an older cat make good familiars, because they get into less mischeif.
But with all things cat related, there is mischeif. Make sure you’re ready to have your altar messed with, things knocked down, candles played with (while you have a heart attack because it seems like ze’s going to burn hirself), have to be more concious of where you’re walking because ze’s underfoot half the time, have offerings taken/eaten/drunk off of your altar, have your salt eaten (tho maybe that’s just my familiar….), ect. And make sure you’re ready to repremand quickly, but also forgive and be patient with your new familiar. Sometimes they aren’t as interested as you’d like them to be, and that’s okay. Give hir a few years to settle down and they’ll learn.
I’ve lived with Oskar for five years, and I have to say, having a familiar is the most rewarding thing in my life. I have a deep appreciation for anyone who works with felines and has a connection like I have with him. I know I just wrote you a book and it’s probably not going to help you pursuade your parents, but I hope it helps you, when the time comes.
Also, do please think about adopting an older cat, kittens are often the most adoptable and many older cats that make fantastic pets and familiars get over looked and put down every day in favor of their younger, fluffier cousins. I got Oskar when he was 6 months old, and I don’t regret getting a grown cat over a kitten. Often they’re already house broken and know not to claw on things. Make sure to get your new friend spayed or neutered if they aren’t already.
Good luck with your parents. Maybe remind them that cats are less work then dogs, generally quiet, lower bloodpressure and as always, are rewarding, lovable, independant pets that work well in busy households.
How would you recommend making contact with Aphrodite? I know that everyone's saying i should meditate, but i honestly have noo clue how to go about meditating, ive heard you're supposed to ground yourself or something, i apologize i'm very new to hellenic paganism and still trying to figure this all out! Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)
Well I won’t tell you to “meditate” because that’s not a thing I do. I mean, what I do could be considered meditation, maybe… I’ll just explain it to you:

Pagan parenting tip #1
If children are having bad dreams arm them with “Stuffed Animal Guardians”.
To do this you’ll need the following ★Seam rippers (Small scissors work these are just needed for opening seams) ★Thread (to match the stuffed guardian) ★Items to fill stuffed guardian with (Incenses, oil soaked cloth, sigils, whathaveyou)
Today I used dried coconut shavings, lemon oil, and poppy seeds along with a sigil to protect the little one from bad dreams.
First you will need to open the stuffed guardian. Find one of the seams where it was originally stitched and open an inch of the seam. Put it incense, oil soaked cloths, sigils, etc. into the stuffed guardian. Sew the guardian back up either using a standard or hidden stitch. Put your thoughts of happiness and energy into this as you make it. From here you can either give to the little ones or allow to charge in moonlight.
Hopefully you both get some more sleep now.

Celtic Cross Spread
Description: Divine the conditions, variables, and progression of the querent’s condition. Results are most productive when a specific subject or question is proposed, but is not necessary.
Card Positions (Variation 1): (1) — Present condition of the querent. (2) — The querent’s conflict or support. (3) — Subconscious: reality, significances, higher-self. Also root/origin. (4) — Past condition of the querent. Already experienced. (5) — Conscious: expectations, superficiality, ego. Desires/Goals. (6) — Future condition of the querent. Approaching experience. (7) — Internal variables of the querent. How the querent affects their own condition. (8) — External variables of the querent. How others, a group, or environment affects the querent’s condition. (9) — Advice to the querent in their current condition. (10) — Manifestation, projected outcome (long-term future).
Card Positions (Variation 2): (1) — The present: Heart of the matter. (2) — Immediate obstacle. (3) — Distant past. (4) — Recent past. (5) — Best outcome, most profitable. (6) — Immediate future. (7) — How you see yourself. Internal Influence. (8) — How others see you. External influence. (9) — Hopes & fears. (10) — Final outcome overall.
Annotations (Variation 1): (a) — The central dynamic of the situation. Depending on the cards the dynamic is either conflicting/colliding in some manner; or, indicates a mutual agreement that has been met and the variables work in accordance with one another. (b) — Time frame/progression. What things are fading into the past (4), where is the querent in the present (2), and what things are approaching in the future (6)? Allow these cards to blend together to create a path which the querent is walking on. (c) — Consciousness and perception. Card 4 is the origin of the situation, where conditions are born from but is also buried beneath perception. Card 1 is where consciousness is level and card 5 is where perception may have been exaggerated by expectations or desire. (d) — How does the interactions between the outside environment and the querent personally correspond? Is there any cause & effect evident? How does the situation in (a) reflect upon card 7 and 8 individually? (e) — Card 6 suggests the near future of the querent’s progression. Card 10 addresses the future in way of manifestation: The end result, the long haul, and the significant lesson of this situation. Card 6 could be seen as what’s immediately in the road ahead, where card 10 would be what’s at the finish line of this proposition. (f) — How do the expectations of the querent meet or fall short of the projected manifestation of the situation? Is the querent being realistic or missing some important detail?
(Region I) — Feminine: Conditions as a whole, the wheel as it turns. (Region II) — Masculine: Incidental variables, the direction or velocity.
Background:
The Circle/Cross simulates the Celtic cross found throughout Ireland. This cross has a circle linking the four perpendicular spokes. The circle and cross symbolize the joining of spirit and matter and the unity of all events in time. e
Notes: The Celtic Cross is extremely common, but I found Joan Bunning's interpretation of the spread in-depth and refreshing. Since she goes into great detail I've done my best to condense it here. Variation 1 is the version I've personally adopted, and it includes a few alterations of my own. Because this spread is so popular it will appear with various card placements and position meanings. Experiment a little, and then commit to a version you find most productive in your own practice.
This 10 card spread is traditional or well-known, so the source is unspecified.

Oh my days! I genuinely laughed out loud.

So, if I’m gonna be lying low for a few days, I wanna make sure I leave on a productive note, so here’s my Relationship Checkup Spread. (The design is completely inspired by my first aid kit, haha)
I should note that this isn’t a spread to see the individual feelings of the people involved. My goal is to take a look at the relationship itself, as its own unit, and identify the current situation and possible problems happening within it.
Card One is the current status of the relationship. This is where things are right now in the relationship itself.
Card Two is for the current issues of the relationship. The issues may not actually be negative! But if there were a problem going on, you may see some note of it here.
Card Three shows the potential upcoming issues in the relationship. Again, these might not be problems! Also, as in any “future” position in a spread, the results are not necessarily inevitable.
Card Four is the potential status of the relationship in the future. Where your relationship is headed if it continues down the path it’s on.
Card Five is the advice card. You can either wait until the end of your reading and ask for advice with a specific area you may have questions on, or deal it at the beginning and take it as a general advice card for your relationship.
This spread doesn’t have to be used for a romantic relationship, and in my opinion, it’s best used to check in on things on a regular basis, just to see where you’re at, and not necessarily for finding out more about specific issues you’re already aware of — a more targeted spread might be better for that.
