It thus chose to split its soul into components that could experience the world as others did. And so from Nihil came Corporis, holding most of the powers of the original dragon.

Saga Silvae by Frygia

Witch of the Forest "None who enter the forest leave it unscathed. Perhaps they fall prey to injury. Perhaps they never return. Perhaps, instead, they are bewitched, souls captured in the song of the Witch, and return a shell of their former selves, if at all." That red flower is my attempt at a begonia. It means "beware." Virentia might have a few rumors about her defending of the forest. The extent of her "bewitching" is usually just a song that might control the movements of weak-minded people a bit... She might also mess with the senses of the listeners so they hallucinate a bit... Otherwise, she drives them off with her nature magic, borrowing the power of the forest.

Falling Star "According to Astronomy, when you wish upon a star, you're actually a few million years too late. That star is dead. Just like your dreams." ... I jest. Here's the real one. "The hidden stars shine only in the darkness of night." Loraine Aureola. I changed a few details of her design.

Virentia Ianua

Age: 12 Race: Nidalian Affinity: Nature, secondary Sound Channeling type: Magical Personality type: ISFJ I present to you Virentia Ianua. Virentia means vegetation, and Ianua means gate. Or something like that. She's kind of sheltered, as she's lived her life in a forest, but she's also curious about everything she doesn't know. In terms of socializing, she has some trouble distinguishing between plants and animals, since both were just as responsive to her. Among Iydians ("humanoids" of Cor Aethereus), she's pretty reserved, but in a closer relationship, she's more open. She also loves to sing, and is skilled at Sound magic, but is shy about performing in front of an audience of Iydians. Since she is a Nature Nidalian, she grows the flower out of her hair. Depending on her mood, she might change it to a different flower.

Glacies Reconditas

Recondite Ice I found some great close-up pictures of snowflakes (here) and thought I'd try drawing Iea with more intricate wings based off of them. I love them, but I don't know if I'll continue drawing them like this. It's quite troublesome.
