I don't think anyone's been saying "porn bad" its mostly "hey why are you incapable of drawing things that aren't sexualized" but okay.

Just out of curiosity's sake I decided to look at the past 2 weeks of finished (colored and shaded) artworks, compiled here so I don't have to add 20 images to this post.

I've categorized them vaguely. The top row is nonsexual work. the middle two rows are works with ass shots, characters wearing thongs/minimal clothing, and softcore porn. The bottom row is the covert fetish artwork (object transformation, in this case.)

There are 5 completely nonsexual artworks, 8 more sexual artworks (6 if we don't want to include the bat and malcom x pieces, since I know those have other messages to them) and 4 fetish artworks. This results in a ratio of 12:5 sexual to nonsexual artwork, or 10:7 if we aren't including the deeper pieces.

I know getting this far in the weeds is nitpicky but I was curious to see just how much of his artwork has overt gooner elements to it. You don't have to take this post too seriously

having been banned from several queer spaces (including As You Are, the one mentioned by a victim's girlfriend in the above post) is coming literally from the people in the community that go to those bars (note: pronouns used these tweets were aligned with pronouns anonsee used at the time)

in the process of grabbing these screenshots I found a post from a completely unrelated person in anonsee's local area talking about anonsee getting banned from a club the two of them were in for assaulting women:

every screenshot here has been posted by another trans woman. the linkedin is the only thing that wasn't initially posted by another trans woman, and that was because a trans woman shared it to someone else to leak for her own safety, as anonsee's previous transfeminine accusers were not believed.

I'm gonna be a bit cruel with this but Salem Wolferjager will be forgotten, no matter how hard he claws for notoriety and fame, no matter how he frames himself as this famous black liberationist, the only black trans man on the internet, and so on, the only people who will truly remember him when his time has come and gone will be the pedophiles and rapists he aligned himself with. And even then these individuals wont remember HIM, they'll remember the gooner content he made and know nothing about Salem himself other than that he threatened to kill himself over every criticism, and spent half his time on the internet saying he's being stalked and cancelled. To be known by them and only them as a faux version of oneself may be a worse fate than death itself in my opinion.

Salems lack of art history knowledge is compelling and also disgusting when he’s using the sameeeee tricks Europeans used to objectify and sexualize Africans/african imagery especially women in art of well, various periods. Obviously nothing wrong with trying to reconnect from a culture literally ripped from you but with Salem it’s more abt his ego and very obvious lack of community. I feel bad for him but also hmmm make better decisions and interact with people who aren’t cringe nsfw furry artists. People who are disabled, black, trans, etc all exist outside of these tiny, tiny circles he’s drawn around himself. His sense of not belonging isn’t entirely his fault of course but much of it is self imposed thru the way he chooses to act ONLINE of all places. IMO there's layers to the wreck of Hitomi and Hitch's relationship, or lackthereof. They exist primarily to be eroticized more than either is romanticized, given so much emphasis is placed on sexual traits Salem finds desirable. The difference between their treatment depends on which one Salem personally projects onto (Hitch), and which he idealizes as a sexual encounter. Hitch is objectified by Hitomi as a pussy because Salem cannot conceive of Hitch as anything more than a bottom, given the ways he associates femininity as receptive/passive/submissive. Contrastingly, Hitomi is objectified by Salem as a top and/or dom, given she is butch and has "masc" traits (a penis). Their designations as prey and predator further reinforce the stereotypes of their dynamic. I recall that Salem has said in a one-off skeet that Hitch tops Hitomi, but the weight of evidence in terms of his artwork and posting is in favour of objectified bottom pussyboy Hitch and comptop trans woman Hitomi. It's all steeped in racism, misogyny and toxic heteronormativity... so about what one would expect of Salem's creative ability.

Salem's new art depicting his truesona in "earthy" aesthetics has me genuinely stunned as someone who is both AA and African and dabbles in earthy-boho styles (one of my parents is an African immigrant). I don't have all the proper terminology to say this, but it reeks heavily of indigenous and tribal exoticism towards Africans and isn't even anyways CLOSE to AA or even AA pan-Africanist boho-earthy aesthetics that incorporate elements of differing African textiles and jewelry. It literally feels like he's heralded himself as this "pro-black pan-African" so hard that he's wrapped back around to exoticizing and mystifying REAL African culture to fulfil this fantasy of being a proud Black-American who is connected to his roots pre-slave trade. Like it's so laughably offensive and is made to appeal to his white sex-addicted fanbase who will glaze this overly offensive depiction of aesthetics that more embody this fetishized ideal of African tribes and their aesthetics because he's tired of just using his Black-American identity to hook his fanbase. It's literally, genuinely so racist and on par with his orientalism "KungFu Revvy" stuff. I can't even conceptualize why he thought that drawing was a good idea when it's so racially and culturally insensitive.

It honestly doesn't matter that Salem has gotten better at drawing technically, because none of his stuff has a single iota of charm or personality anymore.

Despite some of my nitpicking, I'm actually a huge fan of imperfect/amateur art. Because a lot of the time you can tell there's a lot of genuine creative passion and potential. That was actually the kind of charm that was in his super early Puppychan art, before he got popular. I think my favorite art from this time was when he was first developing a story for all his OCs, primarily Suna (The little yellow dog-like girl) and Tsue (The white fox) They're just all so adorable!

I believe this last picture was actually a collab between him and another artist, but the way his characters are designed here just makes me super invested in them. Oh, what could have been...
