there’s no reason a phone should cost $1,000

there’s a ton of super valid reasons it should cost that much, the amount of work that Apple puts into creating new hardware and software for these phones is crazy. Even if it doesn’t seem like it there’s so much coding involved in making the features they have work, and they’re manufacturing it so it accessible to the general population. $1000 is definitely worth it considering the things you can do with it.

Samsung makes most of Apples parts. Not to mention they’re building off existing codes. The cost of the phone is a fraction of what they’re charging. So yeah. No phone should cost 1k.

The iPhone X is everything that the Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6 launched with earlier this year, and those phones are much cheaper. Apple charges what they charge because they have a monopoly on iOS and people will pay it because it’s not like Android where you can go with another complany if you don’t like what one does. Unique features and the effort it took to code has very little to do with it.
