Corbeau was in a pissed off mood. While he was flying first class to your home region, he was still flying. He hated leaving Lumiose. Especially with Philippe by his side. However, he needed to find you and make sure you come back to Lumiose. Immigration laws be damned.
His fingers drummed against the armrest of the seat as some mindless movie played. His nerves in fire as he wondered if you were okay. Your words to Canari making him start to think of worse case scenarios.
Luckily for him, the plane landed without a hitch and he grabbed his carryon. He got off and sent Philippe to get the luggage as well as summon a taxi. Perks of being the leader of a crime organization, he used his methods to find out where you live.
So stuck in a cramped taxi, he tried to call you again. His mood dropping with each time it went to voicemail.

You woke up due to a wet snout being pressed against your arm. Your Feraligatr staring at you with slightly pleading eyes. Probably hungry as they haven’t eaten since you boarded the plane. With a tired chuckle, you sat up. Stretching your arms over your head, you flinched at the crick in your neck from lying on your uncomfortable couch.
Standing up, you grabbed your scatchel and headed towards the store in town. Walking through familiar scenery and waving at a few of your neighbors. Making small talk until your Feraligatr got enough of the chitchat and pushed you towards the store. Very impatient but you understood.
You had to carry the large bag of Pokemon feed because you were afraid if you allowed your pokemon to, he would devour the entire bag. Leaving nothing for the others who were probably just as impatient. But you did make him carry the other groceries.
Your mind started to wonder as you walked the familiar path towards your home. Wondering what Corbeau was doing. It should be in the middle of the night in Kalos. Was he still working? Out battling? Sleeping? You missed him and wanted to be in his arms, but knew you couldn’t. Not without causing him trouble with immigration.
As you got closer to your home, you stopped in your tracks. Noticing the door was open slightly. That got you nervous. Did you forget to shut it? Sure, you lived in the hotel for the longest time, but you locked that door when you weren’t in it.
You slowly pushed open the door, pausing when you saw Corbeau sitting on your couch. His familiar coat throw haphazardly on the coffee table as looked up when you entered your apartment.
“Corbeau…?”
“A letter? You left Lumiose and me with only a letter as goodbye?!” Corbeau started, his annoyance barely being able to be contained as soon as he saw you. His eyes scanning over your body as he scolded you like a child. “Do you know how much I was worried when I couldn’t get into contact with you?! How much my heart rate skyrocketed when you spoke to Canari and you said goodbye like you were never coming back to Kalos?!”
“Corbeau…” you whispered again, tears forming in your eyes as you realized how much he cared. Sure, you knew he cared for you. But to travel across regions to come and see you? Instead of just breaking up with you?
“I would have liked to know about the last week I had with you, as I would have never shared you with the others,” he said, calming down slightly. “Or I would have found out a way for you to stay. You’re mine. I don’t like not having you in my city.”
You dropped the Pokemon food and ran and wrapped your arms around him. Burying your face into his chest as you cried out how you were sorry. The poison type specialist sighed but patted you on your head.
“Stop crying. I’m not mad…anymore. But I have Philippe bringing us dinner and I am going to be sleeping with you in my arms. You aren’t allowed to leave them until I saw so, understand?” You nodded against his chest and he gave a tired smile.

You spent a lot of time calling your friends and apologizing the next day. Feeling horrible for making the others worry and getting scolded for leaving like you did. You would have shut down again, if it weren’t for Corbeau lying in your bed shirtless as he kept his arms wrapped around your waist. His tattoos on full display as he rubbed circles into your hip as you spoke to the others.
By the time you called the last person, who was Jacinthe, you were emotionally exhausted. Although, when you called the socialite, all she did was chuckle and tell you that she knew you were leaving. That she would see you soon enough, and to tell Corbeau to make sure you stay in one piece.
You blushed at her words before she told you that there was one way to have kept you into Kalos without much trouble.
“How?”
“A marriage visa darling.”
Your face turned a deep scarlet at her words before she excused herself and hung up on you.
“What did she say to you?” Corbeau asked as he lazily looked up at you. His golden eyes even more prominent without his glasses on.
“I…nothing of importance?”
“…You’re lucky I’m too tired to question you….” You smiled and ran a hand through his hair.
“Im sorry you didn’t get any sleep when i was gone.”
“I’ll have to put you in debt for it,” he mumbled into your side. Quite clingy when he’s sleepy.
“Of course,” you said with a chuckle. “I wouldn’t expect any less.”
