Day 26 of Snapetober is a peak at Snape's study spot in one of the spiral stairwells. It gets a bit cold so he has his scarf and vest, courtesy of Malfoy from when he graduated and no longer needed the clothes. His mom embroidered his initials on his bag too💚

During yet another foray into the fields for herbs, Severus came across a grove of wildlife, which forced him to get out an old battered camera purchased at a flea market in the 80s. For a moment, he found himself away from the turmoil of the surrounding Wizarding world, enjoying the silence and tranquility of nature. He couldn't bring himself to collect the insects for the ingredients, that is.

 (Yes, I spent more than 12 hours on a render where Severus takes pictures of bugs. Soft stuff. I regret nothing)
