-looks up at her and swears again under his breath- Â Mind saying that again Cori? Â I missed it.
"I said, 'oooo you said a bad wooorrrrrdddd' but now you look upset. Are you sad or mad or something? Daddy says people say bad words when they're frustrated."

Cori is wondering around, exploring when she hears music. She follows the noise and starts dancing around and humming on her way to the source of the music. She stops at an open door and keeps dancing. “Nice moves!!!!”
He jumps and turns around, but lets out a small chuckle and smiles at the little girl.  “Why thank you.”

I know, it was a stupid decision…  Your daddy and I really don’t get along, and I knew that if I showed up he would have told me to go, so I just didn’t bother.  I know nothing I can possibly say could make up for it, and I was a stupid nineteen year old who wasn’t ready for the responsibility.  I’m always going to regret it.
“That’s not fair! You can’t just say you regret it and get me back. I don’t want you, I want my Daddy because he kept me and loves me. You don’t love me.”
Yeah, but I haven’t since.
“So? You can now!!!”
Who’s Vi…?  Nevermind.  Cori, look, I never wanted to leave you, but I knew you’d have your best chance if you grew up with your dad.  I didn’t want you to have a bad life.
“That doesn’t make any sense! If you didn’t want to leave me I could’ve lived with my Daddy and you could’ve visited! I have friends at school whose parents aren’t together! But no! You chose to just leave me! So now I’m choosing that I don’t want to be around you! You aren’t really my mom, you never were.”

“You did all those things and all you care about is how I found out?!? Vi told me!”
