Rockin Around The Christmas Tree

Ross woke with his arm wrapped around Demelza, and snuggled closer to her if that was possible. Ā He smiled as he remembered the night before.Ā They had made love one more time during the night, both unable to fall asleep and keep their hands off of each other.Ā It finally happened.Ā Not as he had planned, but as Caroline had said it would - naturally.Ā No big trips or grand gestures were needed.Ā Demelza came to him in her time, when it was right for her.Ā It was the most beautiful night he had ever experienced, because it was with her, his Demelza.Ā They had helped knock down the walls for each other and now they were one.Ā He was right where he wanted to be for the rest of his life.Ā Laying in her arms, protecting her from the hurts of the world, but standing back enough to let her be the woman of her fullest potential.Ā He felt this woman stir in his arms and roll over to face him with the content smile of a cat that had just lapped up a saucer of warm milk.Ā She stretched in his arms.Ā āGood morning my Demelza.ā
āGood morning my Ross.Ā How long have you been awake?ā
āOh not long.Ā I was just laying here enjoying the memories of last night while holding you.ā
āMmmm, it was a beautiful night Ross.Ā Thank you.ā
āYouāre welcome.Ā And thank you as well.ā
āI suppose I should get up and take a shower and get the turkey in the oven, and begin the day.ā
He was caressing her cheek with the back of his fingers.Ā āI guess.Ā May I join you in that shower?ā
Demelza smiled.Ā āYou may.āĀ She started to get up and then when she realised that Ross would be watching her walk naked to the bathroom, she stopped.Ā āWhy donāt you go first, Iāll meet you in the shower.ā
Ross looked at her and gave her a questioning look, wondering why she said that.Ā āOkaayy.āĀ He threw the covers back and started to get up and then it dawned on him.Ā He smiled, āSo you do realise that Iāve seen you naked now.ā
Demelza smacked him on the arm. āYes, of course I do.Ā Buuut youāre closer to the shower than I am, so you go first.ā
Ross couldnāt help but laugh at this.Ā āAlright, Iāll go first.Ā Oh, I wanted to ask you, do you want us to open our gifts to each other alone, or with the rest of the family around?ā
āOh, I guess I hadnāt thought about it.Ā Let me think.āĀ She remembered one present in particular that she had gotten Ross that she thought should be opened in private.Ā āUmm, maybe in private.ā
āReally?Ā Now my curiosity has peaked.Ā What did you get me?ā
āYouāll just have to wait.Ā Now go get in the shower and Iāll be there in a minute.ā
āOh alright.ā He gave her a kiss and started to walk to the shower.Ā He stopped, turned his head to find her watching his naked ass walk away from her.Ā He gave his toosh a little wiggle for her enjoyment and walked to the shower.Ā She couldnāt help but giggle at the scene.Ā Ā
Ross was letting the hot water bounce over his head when he felt her arms wrap around his waist. Ā He grabbed her hands and pulled them up to his lips and turned around to pull her in for a ravenous kiss.Ā He pulled away and looked at her.Ā Ā
āYouāre naked.ā He smiled
āIām looking at your naked body.ā
Demelza covered her face.Ā āYes, I know youāre looking at my naked body.ā
āYou can look at my naked body, if you lol want.āĀ
Demelza looked up at his face, and Rossās eyes had that lustful look again.Ā Not knowing what to do, she grabbed the bar of soap and started rubbing it all over his arms and chest, soap suds going everywhere.Ā He turned around and leaned against the wall of the shower while she washed his back, purring like a kitten.Ā She was enjoying watching the muscles in his back move and flex.Ā Her hands moved down to his bum and thighs.Ā She was getting closer to his hardening erection.Ā Ross turned around to stare in her eyes and brought her in to hold her against his soapy chest.Ā Tongues and lips were everywhere.Ā Demelza felt herself sliding all over his body from the soap suds between their bodies.Ā She suddenly felt brave and her hand moved lightly over his erection causing Ross to flinch and moan at the same time.Ā āOh my God Demelza.Ā I canātā¦.āĀ Ross reached up to turn the water off and picked Demelza up in his arms and carried her to the bed.
Demelza was laughing at him.Ā āRoss, we are both soaking wet!āĀ
āI donāt fucking care.Ā The sheets will dry.Ā Besides, I donāt want you to slip in the shower.ā
He sat her down and threw back the covers to find a spot of blood on the white sheets.Ā Demelza gasped. āRoss, Iām so sorry.Ā Let me get these in the washer before it sets in too much.āĀ She started to move to remove the sheets.
Ross could tell she was upset by it.Ā āDemelza itās fine. I was half expecting it.Ā Itās just a sheet.Ā I donāt care if it doesnāt come clean.ā
Ross stopped her from ripping the sheet off the bed.Ā āDemelza no.Ā Please.Ā Itās really fine.āĀ He reached down and kissed her.Ā āI love you Demelza.Ā I want you, and I donāt care about those sheets right now.Ā Come here, love.āĀ Demelza hesitantly crawled back under the covers, to cover herself and to get warm.Ā Ā
Ross gave her a small smile and crawled under the covers with her.Ā āIām sorry, I didnāt mean to sound cross.Ā Youāre shivering!Ā Come here and let me warm you up.āĀ He pulled her closer to his chest and wrapped her up to get her warm.Ā āI wish that we could just stay here in bed all day, just the two of us.ā
āMmmm that would be nice.Ā But it is Christmas Day.ā
Ross kissed her forehead.Ā āYes, it is.Ā You know Iāve been planning this surprise romantic getaway weekend for us, for when we made love for the first time.ā
Demelza looked up at him.Ā āYou were?Ā And I ruined it withā¦ us last night.Ā Iām sorry Ross.ā
āThereās no need to be sorry.Ā Last night was perfect.Ā Besides, Caroline had told me that you wouldnāt want that sort of thing or that sort of fuss made over it.ā
Demelza sat up, āCaroline!Ā You told her of your plans for when we make love for the first time!!ā
āNo!Ā I didnātā¦..Ā Dwight did.ā
āWhat?!?!Ā Dwight knows!Ā Bloody hell Ross, how am I ever going to face him again!āĀ Demelza was getting more upset by the minute now.
āCaalm down, it wasnāt like that at all.Ā I promise.Ā This is all coming out wrong.Ā Donāt you ever talk in confidence with Caroline about things?āĀ Demelza looked down like she had been caught.Ā āWell, thatās the same way it is with Dwight and I.Ā He knew that I had been worried and I told him that I wanted to take you away to someplace special with snow, like Switzerland, because you love snow so much.Ā That was one of the reasons why I bought that coat for you.Ā Well the night I took your gifts over to Dwightās to wrap them, Caroline was there of course.Ā And she started putting two and two together.Ā Dwight blabbed to her about my plans and she said that you wouldnāt like all of that fuss.ā
āYou were going to take me to Switzerland?āĀ Demelza was softening up now.Ā Ā
āYes, I was.Ā Iāve never been there, but I imagined it would be beautiful with all of the snow.ā
Demelza was starting to like the idea more and more.Ā āWell.Ā We could always still go.Ā Itās a very sweet thought and all. Ā That is if you still wanted to go.āĀ Demelza was smiling at Ross.
Ross started laughing at his favourite redhead.Ā āOf course we can still go!āĀ He raised up and gave her a big kiss.Ā āI love you!ā
āI love you too!Ā But right now, I really think we should get dressed and get the day started.Ā Besides, Iām freezing up here!ā
āOkay, but I want to open my Christmas presents when we get downstairs!ā
Demelza rolled her eyes.Ā āHow old are you?ā
The glow of last night was making it hard for the new lovers to keep their hands off of each other in the kitchen.Ā Ross was attempting to fix breakfast while Demelza was trying to get the turkey ready to go in the oven.Ā A touch here, a caress there, a kiss here, a nibble there.Ā Before she knew it, Demelza was sitting on the table with Ross standing between her legs.Ā She had her hands at the back of his neck going through his dark curls, he had his hands under her top caressing her back while they were locked in a passionate kiss.Ā āDemelza either we go back to bed or I might just make love to you right here on this table.āĀ He growled into her neck causing her to laugh.Ā Ā
āRoss, as much as I would love to go back to bed, we canāt, weā¦.Ā Do you smell something burning?ā
Ross started sniffing and then quickly turned around and ran to the stove.Ā The bacon that he had begun to fry was now black as coal and was smoking up the kitchen.Ā The smoke detector started blaring as Demelza ran to open the back door to let the smoke roll out the door.Ā āFuck!Ā I guess I forgot about the bacon!!Ā Iām sorry, I guess I ruined breakfast for us.āĀ Ross went over to shut the smoke alarm off.Ā
Demelza was laughing at Ross, āOh ya think Ross?Ā Howās the turkey?Ā Is it covered with smoke?āĀ Demelza was inspecting the turkey.Ā āI think itās okay, but we best be getting it in the oven if we ever intend on eating the poor soul!āĀ She opened the oven door while Ross slid the bird in the oven.Ā Ā Ā Ā
Ross was throwing the burnt bacon in the bin, āMaybe it would be safer if we just stuck with cereal for breakfast!Ā Demelza, I thought you said my mum was going to fix the turkey?ā
āThatās what we had planned originally but she asked if I wouldnāt mind doing it.Ā Something about needing to sleep in.Ā I told her it was fine.Ā Iāve never fixed a whole one before, but she wrote down the instructions for me, so it canāt be that hard.ā
āIām not sure after that fiasco with the bacon we just had.āĀ Ross was back to pulling his love back into his arms.Ā Ā
āThat WE just had Ross!Ā Youāre the one who was distracted and wasnāt paying attention to what he was cooking.ā
āWell, my love, I canāt help it if you distract me so much that I donāt know what Iām doing.Ā Is it not your job to instruct me and keep an eye on me?ā
āOh Lord, Ross, thatās a full time job in itself!ā
āPerhaps we should take our bowls of cereal into the living room and open our gifts.Ā Cereal should be safe enough!ā
Ross and Demelza sat on the floor while they ate their Christmas breakfast of cereal and began to open their gifts.Ā Seamus was laying with his head resting on Ross's thigh.
Demelza handed Ross a box to open.Ā It was the blue jumper that she had bought.Ā Ross held it up to himself.Ā āWow, this is very nice.Ā Thank you.Ā I donāt think I have a jumper like this or this colour.Ā I love the design that it has with the white running through it.ā
āWell, I thought you would look very āandsome in that colour.Ā I donāt see you very often in blue.Ā Do you really like it?ā
āYes!Ā Yes, I do.Ā Thank you so much, love.āĀ He leaned over and gave her a kiss.Ā āNow it's your turn.āĀ He handed Demelza a box, wrapped in the same wrapping paper that her coat was wrapped in.
āDid Caroline help you wrap this one too?ā
āNo! I was able to handle this one on my own.Ā Canāt you tell by the poor wrapping job!ā
Demelza grinned at him as she opened the box.Ā It was a matching brown scarf and leather gloves.Ā āOh Ross, theyāre beautiful!Ā They will go nicely with my new coat.ā
āThat was the thought.Ā Try on the gloves and make sure they fit.ā
Demelza pulled on the cashmere lined, brown leather gloves.Ā āOh Ross, theyāre so soft on the inside!Ā And they fit perfectly.Ā Thank you Ross.Ā I love them.āĀ She wrapped the scarf around her neck and posed as Ross took a picture of her.Ā Ā
Demelza handed him another box to open.Ā Ross ripped at the paper like a little kid!Ā He opened the box to find a scarf and a pair of black leather driving gloves.Ā āDriving gloves!Ā You know I donāt have a pair!Ā Thank you so much.āĀ
Demelza grinned, āI guess we had the same idea with the gloves and scarfs.Ā Sorry about that.Ā I really had a hard time figuring out what to get you.āĀ Ā
āNo! No, I love anything from you.Ā And they fit just right, and the scarf will be warm as well.āĀ Demelza took a picture of him in a cheeky pose.Ā Aidanās eyes were as big as a child on Christmas morning.Ā Demelza loved watching him as he opened his gifts.
Ross gave Demelza her next gift which was a bigger box, āOh Ross, Iām almost afraid to open this box.āĀ She carefully tore the paper off which drove Ross nuts.Ā She opened the box to find a pair of brown winter boots that were fur lined.Ā āBloody hell Ross!Ā You really were planning on taking me to Switzerland, werenāt you!?ā
Ross ducked his head down, āYeah thatās what I had been thinking of doing.Ā A nice, little, snowy romantic getaway.Ā Do you think itās barmy?ā
āNo, no Ross.Ā I love the idea.Ā It sounds very cosy.āĀ She reached up and cupped his face in her hands to kiss him.Ā āAnd I love you.Ā Thank you for everything.Ā The coat, the boots and the scarf and gloves.Ā Iāll be quite fashionable when we go out.āĀ Ā Demelza reached under the tree for another gift for Ross.
āHmmm.Ā Itās squishy.Ā Wonder what this is?āĀ Ross proceeded to rip the paper off and started laughing that gorgeous full laugh, mouth wide open, head leaning back. Ā He was laughing at a pack of Star Wars boxer briefs.Ā āBloody hell where did you ever find these?!Ā Theyāre brilliant!ā
Demelza was admiring her Ross.Ā āOh you can get just ābout everythin on Amazon!Ā I thought youād like them.āĀ Demelza got up to get the large gift behind the tree and handed it to Ross.Ā Ā
āWhat in the world?āĀ He was giving Demelza a strange look.Ā This time he slowly removed the wrapping paper as if he was afraid to see what was under it.Ā He let out a large gasp.Ā āDemelza!Ā What have you gone and done!āĀ He looked up at her.Ā āIs this for real?ā
āYeah.āĀ She saw the way he was looking at the autographed poster of Mark Hamill, and she was scared all of a sudden that he didnāt like it.Ā āDo, do you not like it?Ā I can probably sell it back or put it on ebay if you donāt like it.ā
Ross stopped staring at the poster and looked up at Demelza. āWhat?Ā Not like it?Ā No, I love it.Ā But it must have cost you a fortune.Ā Oh Love. Ā You shouldnāt have.āĀ He could tell that Demelza was nervous about the gift.Ā He stood up and gave her a big hug.Ā āYou shouldnāt haveā¦ but I do love it.ā Ā He gave her a kiss on her forehead.Ā āThank you very much, love.ā
āYouāre welcome.Ā And it really didnāt cost that much, so donāt worry ābout that.āĀ Demelza started picking up the wrapping paper to throw away when Ross stopped her.
āDemelza, you have one more gift.ā
āWha?Ā I thought that was it.Ā Ross youāve given me way too much already.Ā I donāt need anythin else.ā
āWell, nonetheless you have one more gift, so sit down, please.ā
Demelza gave him a questioning look.Ā Ross sat down on the couch next to her and pulled out a small box from his pocket.
āRoss!āĀ Demelza gasped.
āNow, calm down, itās not what you think.āĀ Ross handed her the smallĀ box.
Demelza opened it carefully like it was going to blow up in her hands.Ā Ross had a smile on his face, a sparkle in his eye.Ā When she finally opened it, she found that it wasnāt the usual ring that comes in such a box and she breathed a small sigh of relief.Ā But what she found was a beautiful silver necklace with a snowflake pendant that had diamonds in it. It was beautiful and sparkled in the blue velvet box.Ā āRoss!Ā Itās beautiful!Ā I love it!!āĀ She tilted the box to watch the snowflake sparkle with the design in the silver and the small diamonds that accented it.Ā It was perfect.
āDo you like it?ā Ross asked.
āI love it!!Ā Itās so beautiful!Ā Iāve never anythin so pretty in all me life.Ā Thank you!āĀ Ross noticed her Cornish accent was coming out this morning.Ā Ā
āAre you disappointed that itās not a ring?ā
āNo, no at all.Ā We have time for that Ross.Ā I love it, and I love you.āĀ She leaned in to give him a loving kiss.Ā āWill you put it on me?āĀ She took the necklace out of the box and handed it to him and turned around and pulled her hair forward so that Ross could hook the necklace around her delicate neck.
āThere.Ā Turn around, love.āĀ She turned around so that he could admire the necklace lay against her skin.Ā āIt looks good on you.ā
Demelza looked down at it.Ā She couldnāt keep from smiling and leaned in to give him a hug and another kiss.Ā Ross pulled her up to sit in his lap so that he could reach his arms around her better.Ā She laid her head back so that Ross could reach it easily with kisses.Ā This made him chuckle lightly.Ā āYou like it when I kiss you here, Demelza?ā he whispered.Ā She let out a slight moan.Ā āMaybe I should model my new briefs that you gave me?āĀ This broke the romantic mood and they both started chuckling.Ā Ā
Demelza looked at Rossās watch on his wrist.Ā āWell, Iām afraid the fashion show will have to wait until later.Ā I must get back in the kitchen and work on the starters for when everyone gets here, and the veggies to go along with the turkey.ā
āOh, alright, if you must.Ā Is there anything I can do to help?ā
āWell you can pick up the wrapping paper and throw it away, and then check on the drinks.ā
āI can do that.Ā And when I am done with all of that, I will come into the kitchen and ravish you until our guests arrive!āĀ And with that he leaned down to give her neck another kiss.
