Art Vs Artist 2025. Jokes aside, this was one of the darkest and most challenging years. It is hard not to quantify the images I produced, and call it the least successful art year of my life. It was one that made me feel like every fiber of what made me myself was gone like smoke in the wind. I was not making, not wanting to make, and not enjoying it when I did. It was going through the motions, like every other motion I made, lifelessly, still hanging onto the hope that somehow it was all going to be ok. However, to be an artist is not to make art, but to breathe it and drink it. I am still alive, I am still in love with making, and I will not remain broken. Here's to breaking hearts, supporting the communities we love, burning down the power that wishes to destroy us, and above all, continuing to refuse disappearing. And a personal thank you to magical horses.

I wanted to post a comprehensive collection of most of my digital pieces of 2020. It was a great year for art for me, at the very least, and I feel so thankful that I had the time and energy to be able to a lot of great work. Optimistic for another great art year. Happy new year! (The final 6 hnk pieces were a sketch/line/color colab with @maybenoots​ and another artist: I colored the two pieces on the right end, my compositions were the antarcphos and circle Padparadscha, and i lined the last 2)
