Decided to bring back this AU! I didn't like how my art was for it and my storytelling/writing lol | Ask Box: OPEN | This AU is what if Rose was corrupted and gave birth to a corrupted Steven.

Welcome to the Corrupted Baby Steven AU!

I had the AU around 2020/2021 but I'm rebooting it since my art is better and I wanted to rewrite it. Some info on the AU and some answered questions are below!

What is the AU about? -Rose was corrupted before she gave birth, resulting in Steven being born partially corrupted.

2. Why does Steven wear gloves, shoes and hoodie/hides his corruption? -Greg kept Steven's corruption features a secret from Beach City, and it still is a secret as of now.

3. Why do you call Steven "Coren"? -Outside the AU, he is referred to as Coren because I combined Corrupted Steven into a name for him.

4. Are asks canon? -In a sense yes. Asks cannot change the story massively though.

5. How often do you update? -There isn't a set schedule, but I will do my best to answer asks and update the AU.

6. What are the tags? -For things I answer its #waffles answers. For the AU (story wise) currently its #corrupted baby steven season 1 and #corrupted baby steven s1 ep1. These tags will update per episode/season

7. Is fanart/fanfiction allowed? -Of course! If you want me to see it, make sure to @ me!

//my art probably doesn’t portray it well but it’s not a thick hoodie by any means. It’s just there to cover him as much as possible.

Will Coren’s corrupted features still be kept a secret from beach city and the government until season 5, the movie and future?

//the secret definitely won’t last that long. I’ll probably have it be a season 1 or season 2 reveal. I have to rewatch SU and get a good pinpoint again.

Why didn’t match Coren’s colours to the canonical corrupted form from SUF?

//I made the AU before the canon form's episode was released and everyone thought the color was a purple. I kept it because I like how it looks

What would season 2, season 3, season 4, season 5, movie and future versions Coren look like?

//im pretty sure Seasons 2 - 5 Steven is still "neckless" Steven so ig he would still look the same just wardrobe changes. Movie and Future versions would just be taller corrupted steven lol

Why didn’t you remake the old pages and stuff from 2020 and 2021 when you revamped it?

//because i felt they werent necessary lol. a revamp doesnt always mean to just rework every little thing fromm the previous version. Maybe when i get back into SU and I feel like remaking old pages, I will but I wanted to start on Season 1 so we were already at the story.

When do you feel like going back to your corrupted baby amino account again?

//I'm sorry but I'm not returning to Amino ever. Drains battery, overheats my phone and the communities I've been apart of didn't give me the best impression either. Had a good run but not anymore.

What’s the actual reason for why Greg is keeping Coren’s corrupted features a secret from beach city? It’s it because someone will report him to the government to take him away from him and the CGs for testing?

//Yup! It's exactly that! Coren doesn't look like canon Steven or like how the Gems still look humanoid. It probably doesn't help if the CG also bombarded Greg with how dangerous corrupted gems are + with any aggressive behavior Coren might have shown while he was younger.
