This is an INDEPENDENT, PRIVATE ROLEPLAY BLOG for the Companion Character LUCANIS DELLAMORTE from the DRAGON AGE franchise. This is also a sideblog with the intent of roleplaying with only my mutuals from my main blog. I will not be listing my main blog in order to keep my follower count down.

PORTRAYAL: I portray Lucanis as close to canon as I possibly can. This means he is panromantic demisexual and a virgin. This has been viewed as, oddly, controversial in the fandom but I won't alter my portrayal. But just due to him being a virgin does not make him ignorant nor immature. Just like for a lot of aspec people, he's just not had an interest in it with everything else in his life. Also, he was trained in a more direct style of assassination, so he would not have taught how to seduce, due to being partnered with Illario on jobs. That being said, I will post headcanons based on my personal assumptions from engaging with Dragon Age media.

SHIPPING: Just like with the romance, I will not be quick to ship Lucanis with anyone. I also am extremely hesitant about de Rivas, as it doesn't appeal to me personally. But it is very dependent on chemistry. I will not auto-ship, even if you romanced Lucanis in game. That means nothing to me, as all it is is being able to select the correct dialogue options to reach the ends you want. I will require some platonic threads to see how the interactions go. The mun is well over 18 years of age and may indulge in smut here and there, but it's not a main focus on this blog.

FORMAT: The most I'll do is small text, but that can be changed based on what I know about my partner's comfort level. My main interest is accessibility. If your blog, if your information, is not written in an accessible way, I will not interact. I have no desire to take extra, unnecessary steps to read your rules because you decided small, thin white font looks great on a black background (pro-tip: it doesn't. coders don't even do it that way.) Also, if you use generative AI for anything on your blog, be it graphics or writing, I do not wish to write with you.

LUCANIS stood by the fireplace in the dining hall, staring into the flames. He could see from the corner of his eye, Spite lurking just on the edges, waiting for his moment. Always waiting for his moment. Something Lucanis was used to doing himself. But it put him on edge, more than he usually was.

ROOK was right; everything was piling on top of each other. Each time they thought they had a taken a step, another ten were revealed. Escape the Ossuary, Caterina killed by Zara's agents. Find a piece to fight the gods, another thousand pieces lay shattered at their feet.

"TALK to her; let her open the doors!" Spite ordered, creeping into Lucanis's gaze. Lucanis turned to keep his gaze from the demon. What even did he mean by that? He pinched the bridge of his nose, shaking his head.

"THEN we adapt and get the job done." His tone was tense but professional. "We are crows; we always finish our contracts." He looked at her, dark eyes glimmering in the firelight. "Any ideas on the next step?"

HEADCANON:

The reason Lucanis is in armor with weapons when Rook finds him in the Ossuary is he was in the middle of an escape attempt. He'd killed the guards with makeshift weapons before getting to the armory storage for his items, as Zara had kept them in hopes to use Lucanis to infiltrate the crows even more than she had.

He had almost made it, too, but was cornered when Rook shows up. Rook gives him an opening by distracting the Venatori and he strikes. Having Rook and their companion work with him just makes the job of getting to Calivan go faster.
