Heya! It's been awhile, but I made this. I hope it kind of makes sense.
Not many people understand how much the existence of Astarion has impacted me. Who was going to tell me the cunty little vampire ends up being a major comfort character for me. At first I wasn't entirely sure about him, but the more videos I saw the more I fell in love.
His story was extremely compelling and while I cannot relate to him in that way I adored how Larian portrayed him and the way he responds due to his trauma. The way his story unfolds and the more you find out about him, the more it compels you, even if you cannot relate.
I am not one of those fans that infantilizes him or romanticizes his ascension ending. I love the real Astarion. The messy, hurt, yet still undeniably strong Astarion. I love the Astarion that finally realizes that he doesn't have to be all powerful to feel free and safe. The one who breaks the cycle. Not the one who continues it.
The spawn Astarion ending in my opinion is his true ending and I will stand by that. The real Astarion in my opinion is cunning, sarcastic, yet has a soft side to those he has grown close with. He is capable of love and he deserves it.
I feel as if this character has rewritten my brain chemistry and will continue to do so. Two years of him and I'm still going strong. He has grown to be a major comfort character for me and probably will stay that way. I don't think I can move on from such a compelling and gripping character like Astarion.
Hey guys so I genuinely have a question. Do people genuinely see Baby Saja as a kid? Because I see a grown ass man, a demon at that mocking the infantilization of KPop idols. I do not see this man as a kid in anyway. He literally drops the act right off stage, because that's all it is. An act to attract more people so they can get souls.
I had a thirty minute argument with my friend last night about this, (You know who you are and no I'm not mad at you. Just genuinely curious) and they kept saying he was too much like a kid. Baby Saja doesn't have childlike proportions and we literally see a kid in the movie. The only difference is his rounder features and to me he still looks like an adult.
Honestly if he was real I feel like he'd absolutely hate the people who actually infantilize him and I would wholeheartedly agree with him. I've seen edits of him that boost the baby narrative and it makes me uncomfortable because they clearly don't understand his character at all and what he's supposed to represent.
Please tell me what you think cause I feel like editing Baby Saja in an infantilizing way is straight up having no regard for his character and it makes me uncomfortable.
I want to move out of my house so bad. I'm only 19, working part-time at a job that barely pays me, and I only have my permit. I'm working on getting my license and then I'm immediately finding a better job.
Anyways. The reason I want to move out is because I have to do literally everything it seems. I went to my friend's house for about 4 days cause we went to a concert. I got home to find a mountain of dishes in the sink. Like noone had done them in the 4 days I was gone. My brother helped clean the floors but that was it.
I was feeling great after being at my friend's house but the moment I stepped foot in my house it was ruined. I was immediately mad.
I can't fucking handle it here much longer I swear to god. I need out soon. I don't want to be here because my parents are incompetent and apparently can't do anything around the house besides cook dinner.

I am experiencing something wild in this moment. I am at the NC Will Wood concert and MoonWalker just finished his opening preformance so now we're waiting for Will Wood to set up.
Anyways I am having a great time right now. Moon Walker's section was really good so I am just waiting for Will Wood to start. The entire building is filled with the gayest people I have ever seen. I truly believe I belong here.

Edit: Concert over. Will Wood was really good and I got a free bracelet from someone who was at the concert. He played Main Character which is one of my favorite songs from him so I'm quite happy. The drums kinda hurt me and my friend's ears but I think it's okay honestly.

Guys, I need Date Everything SO bad and I'm also going to get the DLC along with it of course who do you think I am. Anyways. I'm going to have to wait TWO weeks to buy it! Why? Because I'm poor. I didn't get paid last week and I gotta have enough money to get an IMAX ticket to see the live action HTTYD this weekend.
I might go crazy. Pray for me guys. I'm gonna have to replay the DLC to cope because it's all I got for two weeks.

the insane experience of missing a fictional character . like you can always go back and reread the book , replay the game , rewatch the show or movie , you can always go back & see them , but you can never experience them & their story for the first time again . its absurd to miss them because they'll always be there , but you'll miss when there were still new things for them to say .
