I take back everything bad I said about Victor Gideon. I just almost cried thinking about how good of a father he would’ve been, especially a girl dad. Without the parasite and virus and stuff, I know he’d be a good person

except for those weird kids he treated, and some patients

actually I changed my mind now, i'm not sure

It's the parasite in me making me irrationally depressed I fear, except the parasite is actually just a worm in my head playing Radiohead on a tiny record player, like that one episode of SpongeBob.

But his gentle voice, he'd be so kind and understanding. I can picture him carefully lifting his kid up to the sky, spinning around and watching as the kid spreads their arms like a bird soaring through the wind Being the kids safe place, going to the grocery store and they're holding onto his finger with their entire hand

Listening to music together, letting them step on his feet to teach them how to dance

Him being able to be his child's doctor for as long as he can, making them laugh while testing their reflexes. giving them a lollypop at the end and letting them sit in his giant office chair while he finishes the day

tearing up on their first day of school, watching as they run off with the other kids

When they get upset, he gets down on his knees and holds out his hands for them to run into, not wanting to feel distant from them

Holding them on his hip while he cooks, letting them ramble on about something incomprehensible, blabbering in his ear as he nods along seriously

Being patient while helping them with homework, being very careful to not to overwhelm them, but fails anyway, and ends up having to wipe the tears and snot from their face

Letting them put bows in his hair, playing make believe and treating them like an adult

him being super protective whenever they start to date, taking advantage of being the super scary dad

being super on edge the first time they learn how to drive in his car, a hand grasping the armrest and the other rubbing his head.

Watching as they get married, having one last dance before giving them away to live their own life Whenever they come to visit he becomes ecstatic, running up to hug them, asking them too many questions about their life

Crying his eyes out when he finds out he's going to be a grandfather

The first time he sees his grandchild at the hospital, rushing to comfort his daughter while staring at them in awe

becoming the classic grandparent, always giving them money and candy in secret

watching as they both get older, buying a house out in the country where his grandchildren can run, while he sits on the porch smiling.

Oh the life he could've had...

when i posted my first fic without thinking too much about it, i never expected it to blow up as much as it did. part of it is also because of @winteryn who was sweet enough to give it a reblog <3

all of my stories (ive got like three) have reached over 500+ notes when im def not the best writer out there and i also take ages to put one story out 😭 but thank you so so so sooo much to all the people that gave me and my stories a chance and showered it with likes and reblogs! an even bigger thank you to the people who left sweet comments and the 121 people that deemed me worthy enough of being in their following amongst the very talented writers we've got here.

im just a girl with a lot of love for superheroes and lots of freaky thoughts about them. its the best thing ever to be a part of this little community of people who are the same as me.
