Please send me a picture of your home library...it’s for research purposes
Dear all, I plan to start posting often again and I hope to expand the aesthetics of my account to all types of academia (fairy, witch, light, dark etc) so please stick around for it all!

my sister made an ephemera wall in her room and this is the result :)
Istg online school will be the death of me. It's the last term yet I am doing more work than I have done all year just because they want to justify their fees. My eyes are barely staying open anymore. I have never been more excited for half term in my entire life my God.
What your headache is tellin you
I haven’t seen this post in a min but precisely when I have a headache RN it comes up in my feed
Two quick additions, as someone who suffered from chronic migraines
1. Behind the eyes: eye strain or just long stress. More sleep will definitely make this feel better. 2. Temples: unclench your jaw, as that bone is putting too much pressure on your temples.
This is a fucking life saviour with the amount of headaches I have
i thought this image was a shitpost at first
Reblogging again cause I’ve been having a headache for hours that wasn’t going away. Unclenched jaw. It almost stopped immediately
part of me wants to live in a cottage in a field. part of me wants to live in a lovely house in the woods. part of me wants to live in a château in france. part of me wants to live in a farmhouse along the welsh or english coast. part of me wants to live in an old victorian house. part of me wants to live in a renovated airstream in the pacific northwest. part of me wants to live in a converted van. part of me wants to live in an apartment or brownstone in nyc. part of me wants to live in a small bungalow in los angeles. part of me wants to live in a flat in london.
“Did you hate it?”
No, I didn’t hate it at all. But what I felt was worse than hate. I didn’t want to remember, didn’t want to think about it. Just put it away. It had never happened. I had tried it and it didn’t work for me, now I wanted my money back, roll back the film, take me back to that moment when I’m almost stepping out onto the balcony barefoot, I’ll go no farther, I’ll sit and stew and never know—better to argue with my body than feel what I was feeling now. Elio, Elio, we warned you, didn’t we?”
― André Aciman, Call Me by Your Name
types of dark academics
classic dark academic: thrifts old books, drinks coffee, writes poetry when bored, visits museums, reads a lot, loves documentaries, loves languages, the teacher’s favourite.
nature-inspired dark academic: lots of plants in their room, pressed flowers, probably vegan, has a cat, wears glasses, loves tea, obsessed with biology, has a tight group of friends.
music-obsessed dark academic: always has their earphones with them, goes to concerts a lot, studies with music on, loves wearing a T-shirt+blazer combo, plays the piano or violin.
casual dark academic: wears regular jeans most of the time, loves studying, reads a lot of reference, probably is a youtuber, into science, loves thrifting, writes essays, good at art.
