i feel like online school lowk stealing my youth…
i really need online teachers to stop using bluekit (turns tests/practices into video games) because i KNOW the material i can ACE the test but i cannot, for the fucking LIFE of me, win a video game and i am the last. every. single. time. no matter how many questions i ace, apparently my inability to press up down left right on time is what reflects on my score
guys I have AMAZING news! I have finallyyy worked up the courage to ask my mother if I could do online school, Zoom, instead of homeschooling. And after a bit of conversation back and forth over text, she said to remind her about it tomorrow, as we have a lot of things going on currently. She said we can look into it together, and that we'll try to get me put on the waitlist, which I forgot existed. But also that we have to figure out vaccines, since I am required to have taken my vaccines, even though it's online, or have a legal exemption. Which I will most likely have a legal exemption because I don't take vaccines. And soon, I also have to take a test to see where I am academically. Like I'm sure I mentioned in my "how to unstupid myself" post, I tend to be in on a lower grade level for certain subjects, but above my grade for other subjects. For example, I could be at grade level 6th for math but 12th for English. I just hope whatever my test results are will be acceptable enough for me to be accepted into online school. I also want to thank @femmepathy, @ruststardustdust, @sakohakura, @passing-through-bd, @waltzdamni, and others who have tried to comfort or help me with my situation!

I haven’t posted since September.
Now it’s October.
Im technically on vacation but it doesn’t feel like it lol .
Teachers have the same breaks as the kids, but I’m also a student.
Master’s courses, online classes, assignments, tests.
So I study :
Pedagogy, management, ethics, Maths, French etc..
and work on my lesson plans for Period 2.
A pile of papers, a mix of handwriting and a lot of Word docs, numbers, grammar…
It’s all a blur. Like the rain on my window..
I feel lucky because even though I’m “on vacation,”
Still on my island, and it’s been raining for days.
Usually it’s always sunny here,but now the grey sky gives me the motivation and the autumn feeling
I never have, because here, there’s no fall.
im finally done with 9th grade so now i can go back to obsessing over wtd/it, stranger things, and squid game!!
