ACCOMODATIONS - Episode 1
Being a part of the silent minority in your workplace has its perks. You are stuck at your desk all day long and nobody cares what you’re doing as long as you have the output. Sometimes other workmates tend to forget you are there and they do a lot of stuff just right under your nose. This is a daily account of an actual story between two persons who came from a decade gap of existence met and how simple things become complicated matters. It’s a roller coaster ride of emotions having to tell the story from a view and on a first-hand account.
Justin is the head of the retail department. He seems like a cool boss and everybody likes him. A well-mannered guy, a friendly person, a sports enthusiast, and in his late thirties. Perhaps I could describe him more as I go along. His office is just across my desk and I could see pretty much everything going on. Julia is from the admin office; I don’t know her exact position but somehow, she seems to be trusted much by the manager. My day started pretty much the same as any other day, but I wouldn’t be writing this journal if something really interesting didn't happen. Julia just came back from a 3-month break, I don’t know her personally since I was hired just a month ago. She is very friendly and has this very innocent-looking face and a cute pair of eyes. They greeted each other during lunch and seems to know each other very well. At the end of the day, Justin waited for Julia and ask for her phone number which she gladly gave.
