Asmahan (real name: Amal El Atrach) was a Syrian singer and actress. She was also a druze princess and a spy for the British army during WW2. She died at age 27, drowned in her car, in the Nile. We don’t know if it was an accident or a murder. She was the sister of Farid El Atrach, who was a famous singer and actor as well.
