Rivals!Dr. Strange x Fem!Reader
Summary: Dr. Doom's sudden visit to the Sanctum Sanctorum leaves you with non-stop visions of New York being consumed by darkness and vampires. All this stress of the possible future causes you to be distanced from everyone, even from your husband, Stephen Strange. Stephen, being the loving husband that he is, sees that you have been acting differently lately and decides to comfort you, which quickly leads to needing each other sexually.

A/N: This story took huge inspiration from Dr. Strange game lore from Rivals, so I recommend reading it if you want to understand the context of the story. Also, I was listening to Rock With You by Michael Jackson while writing this, lol. Just so I don't get sued, I don't own Dr. Strange, anything Marvel-related, or Michael Jackson's music. They all belong to their rightful owners. Sorry for any spelling and grammatical errors, and any ooc moments of Stephen. The link to the fic on AO3 is in the title. Hope you enjoy it! Any likes and reblogs are greatly appreciated :D

You immediately ran around the Sanctum Sanctorum, trying to find your husband, when you felt a shift in the temperature while relaxing on the roof. It was still summer on the island of Manhattan; the wind couldn't have gotten this cold suddenly. The sun was still shining right now. The forecast stated that the heat wouldn't end anytime soon, until fall arrived.
This could only mean one thing for the ominous change in the weatherâŚ
You ran into the study room and saw Stephen floating a few feet off the ground, observing some arcane rituals with the help of the sacred text of his book. He turned his head to you when he heard your panting. You should have used a portal spell to get to him quicker, but the thought didn't occur at the time. "HoneyâŚhe's comingâŚI can't find Wong or Zelma. I don't know how long we have till he-"
"Whoa, Mrs. Strange, what got you all worked up?" a guttural voice asked at your feet. You look down and see Bats, Stephen's faithful companion and now your soul dog. Literally. "You're sweating like a pig."
You shake your head with a frown at Bats and look back at Stephen, who unfolded his legs and gently landed on the floor of the study. He furrows his brow at you as he sets the arcane rituals and book aside. "My love, who is coming that is causing you this much distress?" he inquired as he took both of your hands in his shaking ones.
With that, you heard the faint but harsh flung of the front doors of the Sanctum Sanctorum being forced open. You cursed under your breath when your protection spell didn't work to keep Doom out.
You look back at Stephen's face as you feel his grip on your hands tighten, then he gives you a quick peck on your lips. "You must hide from him. If your protection spell wasn't strong enough to hold him back, then I must be the one who confronts him." He said solemnly as he let go of your hands to stroke your face. You put your hand over his rough, calloused ones with imploring eyes. "But I don't want you to deal with Doom alone."
Stephen gives you a reassuring smile and a playful glint in his eyes. "Honey, I have defeated Victor before. The Ancient One wouldn't have named me worthy of Sorcerer Supreme out of pity."
You softly smile at him as you grab his hand off of your face and gently kiss the back of his palm along the lines of where his scars are. You know you shouldn't doubt him, but Doom can be so unpredictable. You wouldn't know what to do if you ever lost Stephen. Before you can kiss him on the lips, you hear the eerie, distant stomping of Doom as he walks around the kitchen downstairs. He was coming soon. Stephen took this time to cast a spell that formed a hidden closet door on the wall of the study and walked you inside. "Stay silent, dear. This won't take long." He kissed your lips before he closed the door on you.
The ominous sound of Doom's metal boots thwacking on the ground echoes in the hollow makeshift closet. Your heart was pounding from nerves, and you were praying that Stephen could kick Doom out sooner rather than later. You lean forward to the small keyhole to see the two men talking in a seemingly calm conversation. You turn your head to the side to try to hear what they are talking about, but Stephen and Doom are very muffled. Only a few words were audible.
"âŚnotâŚbe tamperedâŚ"
You gasped and felt your heart stop for a second from the mention of the cursed book.
Your eyes widen when you hear Doom's voice, forced in a taut, raspy tone. You went back to looking out of the keyhole and saw the two men fighting in a tense, mystic battle as Doom tried to overpower Stephen with the help of the Dark Arts. Doom cast a spell of Fimbulwinter on Stephen; the ice froze his legs up to his upper thighs and stiffened his cape. Doom was about to cast another spell to finish him off.
Anger flared in your veins, and you pressed your lips into a thin line as you slammed the closet door open. Your face met with the freezing wind of the spell. It was child's play for you; the winters in Kamar-Taj were far harsher than whatever Doom cast in the study room.
"Enough!" You shouted as you cast a protection spell on Stephen, and crimson thorns that hailed from Yggdrasil sprang from the ground and wrapped around Doom in a tightening grip.
"Look, Victor, I don't know why you seek the Darkhold, but I am tired of your antics. You come to my Sanctum, harm my husband, and have the gall to use your pathetic spellwork in my home." You calmly explain as you curl your finger to usher the thorns closer to you. The thorns do as you commanded and bring Doom closer to you as you analyze his face. His eyes were devoid of any emotions; you knew he wasn't afraid of you, but you couldn't care less in that moment.
You scoff at him, "Get out of my house before I kill you myself." You hissed as you threw him down the stairs that led to the dining room.
Doom groans as he picks himself up from the ground. You heard a low chuckle from him as he dusted off his green cape. "I can see why Stephen married you now."
A sense of pride flowed in your chest from his unexpected compliment.
"But heed my warning, young sorceress. I will find a way to get the Darkhold and learn how to bend time to my will with the help of your husband or not." He warned as he faded into the darkness.
You let out an exhaled breath and unclenched your hand. And the Sorcerer Supreme and I shall stop you when the time comes.
Bats' voice made you snap back to reality as you saw him trying to dig the ice off of Stephen's legs. You gasped as you rushed to his side. You used a fire spell to warm up his legs and free them.
"My love...you were incredible, but that was very dangerous. Doom could have killed you for simply insulting him." Stephen cupped your face and kissed you once again.
You gave a smug smirk to him and kissed his cheek. "But he didn't."
Stephen shook his head as he laughed and playfully flicked your forehead. You let out an overdramatic noise as you flicked him back. "But what on earth did Doom come here for?" I asked as I patted Stephen's cape off of any ice that lingered, then crossed your arms.
Stephen opened his mouth about to speak, but Bats floated up to your face. Panic was written in his eyes. "He was talkin' crazy, Mrs. Strange. Goin' on about how he found a way to control time by the palm of his hand, needing the Darkhold for some vampire stuff. Oh, if I weren't already dead, I would have bit him right on the a-"
"Down, boy," Stephen grumbled as he brought Bats into his arms and rubbed his head to calm Bats down. "He won't find the Darkhold while I am here." With a simple snap of his fingers, Stephen opened a portal somewhere in the Astral Plane that even you can't recognize. The Darkhold floated off the bookshelf that was purposely hidden in and went towards you. Magic flowed from your fingers as you cast a fire protection spell that burns any sorry bastard alive who tries to get their hands on this dammend book. With that, Stephen tossed it into the portal and closed it.
Stephen set Bats down on the ground, then wrapped his arms around your waist. You lean into him and rest your head against his chest. You let the peaceful beating of his heart calm you down as you let out a shaky breath. "Do you truly think that this will be enough to prevent Doom from finding the Darkhold?" You asked as you nuzzled your head on his chest.
"I am positive. Doom will never find it there." Stephen soothed your nerves as he stroked your back.
"Let's hope he is the only one looking for that damn book." You said with a strained voice.
"You and me both, my dear." Stephen mused, kissing the crown of your head.
"I got a bad feeling about this, lovebirds." Bats anxiously said, settling between the two of you.
On that note, Stephen went back to figuring out the arcane rituals that he was studying earlier, with you lingering in the silence as you napped in the study room.
Two months after Doom's visit
Sometimes you hated being gifted in the arts of magic.
Ever since Doom visited the Sanctum Sanctorum, you started having visions of the future, which caused nightmares to happen. When you started training in the mystical arts all those years ago, your powers ignited, granting you the ability to predict the future under intense stress. However, your visions never led to such severe nightmares till now. The only time this has happened to you was back then, when you predicted the death of The Ancient One, who died during a battle with Dormammu. As predicted, these visions have only been causing you to worry about New York and all your allies, with how threatening Dr. Doom can be. The man was hellbent on achieving a goal when it entered his smart, twisted mind.
You were trying everything to calm yourself from these visions and nightmares, but nothing was working: shopping with Wong, organizing the Sanctum's library with Zelma, hanging out with your friends on your days off, and going on dates with Stephen.
Truly, nothing was working.
All the stress of the visions just made you distance yourself from everyone, even from Stephen. You hated that you were doing this to everyone, but you couldn't rest knowing you had to be prepared for the future.
You've been mapping out New York, the Astral Plane, and Latveria, while keeping tabs on any vampire sightings thanks to Blade. You've also been practicing your protection spells and light magic to combat any vampires and darkness that Doom was planning to bring down on New York or possibly the world. You don't know how to fight against Doom's ability to control time if he ever figures that out, but you had to be ready. You refused to fail the people of your city, and Earth fell to Dracula or Doom's control.
Your eyes were strained from staring at books all day, and your body ached from practicing magic since the crack of dawn. You stood up from your study desk and dragged your feet to your bedroom. You lazily put on your favorite pj's and saw that Stephen was not in his spot on the bed, probably still on a mission in a different dimension that was about to collapse to a power-hungry wizard. A sudden, sharp pang of sadness plagues your heart as you go under the covers of the bed.
This has been the routine lately with you and Stephen. You would be in bed first while he was still working on something with his magic or was out on long missions. You had a feeling that he, too, was stressed about Doom potentially finding the Darkhold and everything else that he told him months ago. You didn't blame him; you were doing the same thing practically, but at least he was talking with you still, while your anxiety made you clam up and only want to work. You missed the late-night talks you and Stephen would have, and other fun activities that involved taking off your clothes and enjoying each other's bodies. But these visions and added nightmares couldn't make you focus on being a loving wife to him.
You sadly sigh into your pillow, close your eyes, and try your best to sleep.
The visions started happening again. Midtown was overrun by bats, screaming citizens, and vampires. The sun and clear blue sky were gone; all that hung was a blood-crimson moon and an eerie red sky. You see all of your friends and allies fighting tooth and nail, protecting people from the vampires and themselves from getting killed or turned into a damned bloodsucker. Blood was everywhere. You didn't know if the blood was from your friends or the vampires, but it didn't help the impending doom that you were experiencing.
You were on your knees in the darkness as blood oozed from your hands and down your face, forming a disgusting puddle below you. You look up and see Dr. Doom holding some magic relic you had never seen before, leaking a sort of gold liquid, and see your friends, allies, and enemies' faces flash within the relic as different dimensions or timelines collide together.
You couldn't move in this vision. You wanted to scream, use your magic, or punch Doom in the face, but you were trapped on your knees like a mouse caged in a trap. Suddenly, Dracula appears from the shadows behind Doom. He has a sickening smile on his face as he looks at you, then at Doom.
"Kill her." Doom command.
Dracula nodded, eyes turning red with bloodlust as he pounded at you with his fangs on full display right when they were about to sink into your neck.
You woke up in a cold sweat, panting from the vision's raw reality. You could hear your heart pounding in your ears, your hands were shaking from adrenaline, and you swallowed the lump that formed in your throat. You tried to sit up in your bed, but felt someone gently holding you down by your arms. You turned to your left and saw that Stephen was nuzzling into your neck, and his arm was wrapped around your stomach.
Your heart slightly calmed and swelled as you saw how relaxed he looked. He probably missed being close to you and touching you since you've been distant, you thought to yourself. You knew Stephen's touch was his silent way of calming you.
You raise your hand and stroke his face gently so as not to wake him. You loved Stephen so much that it hurts sometimes. You thank whatever god was watching over you for bringing you and him together in Kamar-Taj when he became a student of the mystical arts. You wanted to tell him why you had been distant not only from him but from everyone else, but you didn't want to add more stress to his mind. Being Sorcerer Supreme is already tiring as it is; mentioning your visions would only be a burden to him. The last thing you wanted to do was be a burden to your husband.
Your bedroom was becoming uncomfortably hot, and you were in desperate need to go outside and think. You very slowly remove his arm from your stomach and gently lay his head on the pillow as you quietly get up from the bed. You wave your hand in the air and summon a silent portal on the roof of the Sanctum Sanctorum. It was the only place that would clear your mind whenever your mind was clouded with many thoughts.
You step through the portal, and the wind hits your face immediately as it closes. The warmth of the night in Manhattan put a smile on your face as you overlook the city. You hear the thrumming of traffic, cars honking, tires screeching on the streets, the police sirens echoing in the distance, people walking and talking with one another, laughter from a couple that was having a late-night walk, and a street performer playing an instrument beautifully. A normal person would find the constant noise of the city annoying and loud, but to you, it felt like home. It kept you grounded and reminded you of why you became a hero in the first place after The Ancient One passed away. To hear the people of New York living their day-to-day life as you kept your world safe from evil felt more rewarding than any job you could have gotten.
You put your hands in your pajama shorts as you look in the distance and see The Avengers Tower light up in all of its glory. You assume Tony is most likely still awake right now, working on something in his messy lab, or just wanted to show off the lights of the tower. You turn to your left and see that the Baxter Building wasn't lit up like the Avengers Tower was. You knew everyone from the Storm family was asleep, and you could hear Ben and Reed in your head complaining about the light bill if they kept the lights on at night. The thought of it made you chuckle.
However, your lips pursed when the vision replayed in your mind again. You put your hand to your forehead and rubbed it as you kept looking out at the Baxter Building.
Maybe I can talk with Susan about thisâŚ
Susan Storm was one of your closest friends when you moved to New York with Stephen. You know she would gladly listen to you and the visions you've been having, since she and the Fantastic Four have dealt with Dr. Doom multiple times and are the best people to prepare New York for any emergencies. Though Reed wouldn't believe any of you when you talk about magic and visions, since he is a man of science, Susan would make him listen regardless. Maybe you should warn Tony as well, but you hate talking withâŚ
You heard your name called out.
It snapped you out of your thoughts as you looked behind you, and you saw Stephen walk out of his own portal to the roof. He was shirtless, wearing only blue-and-white striped pajama pants. Concern painted his handsome features. "What are you doing on the roof alone at this hour?" he asked as he joined you by your side.
"IâŚI needed to clear my head, Stephen." You answered awkwardly, clearing your throat.
Stephen raised his brow at you. He knew when you were not being honest with him. It didn't help that you were a terrible liar. "My love, you have been distant lately. Especially from me. What is really going on with you?" Stephen asked, his voice tight with concern.
You look down at your bare feet and sigh. You knew you had to tell Stephen eventually, but the thought of stressing him out only made you want to stay quiet for his sake. "Ever since Doom visited us and made all those threats to youâŚI started having visionsâŚvisions of New York consumed by darkness." You explained, your voice trembling. "I see Doom holding this relic I've never seen before, bleeding gold and having the ability to control time. I saw pictures of our friends and enemies, but from different timelines colliding together." You quivered as you clapped your hands together to give an example. "Then Doom ordered Dracula to kill me. He almost sank his teeth into my neck, but I woke up." You wrapped your arms around yourself to try to comfort yourself.
You could feel Stephen's eyes on you as he listened to you intently. "I wasn't being distant on purpose, Stephen. I've been watching the Darkhold like a hawk, practicing stronger protection spells, learning powerful light spells that could defeat hordes of vampires, and keeping tabs on Dracula thanks to Blade's help." You unclasped your hands as they started to shake, "IâŚI can't fail the people of New York. If I fail as their protector, then that would show that I am nothing but a unless-"
Stephen cut you off by pulling you into his arms. You didn't realize it, but your cheeks were wet from tears that escaped your eyes while you were explaining yourself. You wrap your arms around Stephen and let out a shaky breath. Stephen cups your face in his rough hand and wipes your tears away with his thumb as he stares deeply into your eyes. A calm stillness fell over his face. "My dear wife, you must calm your mind. Try to calm your breathing." You close your eyes and start doing the breathing exercise that The Ancient One taught you when you were a student.
Breath inâŚand outâŚinâŚand outâŚ
You feel your muscles and mind finally relax, and your heart isn't racing anymore. After two months of non-stop stress, you finally felt calm.
You opened your eyes and saw Stephen's gaze soften, and a gentle smile flickered across his face. "Feeling better now?" He prodded as he put two quivering fingers against your neck to check your pulse.
You giggled softly and nodded, "Yes, thank you..."
Stephen kissed your forehead and held out his shaky hand to you. "Dance with me, my dear?" He requested warmly.
You instinctively put your hand in his and wrapped your arm around Stephen's neck as you laid your head on his bare chest. "PleaseâŚI need this," you whispered in a desperate tone. Your hands close around each other as he holds them out in the air and starts to dance with you.
You both sway to the sounds of the city and the muffled music from a local club a couple of blocks down. It was so calming for you. The constant noise of your visions went silent, and you only heard the sounds of Manhattan and Stephen's heart beating.
As you sway together, you hear Stephen humming a song. You couldn't tell what he was trying to hum until he hit the chorus of the song.
"Are you humming our wedding song?"
"Of course, I know how much you love the song, Rock with You," Stephen stated as he playfully dipped you.
You giggle again as he brings you back from the dip and looks up at him with loving eyes. "You know me so well."
Stephen's eyes crinkle at the corners as he smiles again, then he twirls you. "Do you remember the first time we met?"
You warmly sigh from the memory. "How could I forget. You were an absolute mess. I tried to convince The Ancient One at the time that you weren't fit to learn the mystical arts." You say as Stephen twirls you back to him, your back up against his chest. He wraps his arms around your waist as you both keep swaying together. "Plus, you were very arrogant and mean towards me from the start."
He let out a gentle huff of amusement. "And you were very prideful and rude towards me at the time."
You turn your head to look up at him with a smirk on your lips. "Maybe that's why we are perfect for each other. Arrogance and pride go hand-in-hand."
Stephen, return your smirk with his own. "Indeed, they do." He hooks your chin into his shaky hand and kisses you.
The feeling of his soft lips and his beard slightly rubbing up on your face felt so magical to you; no magic in the world could ever replicate this feeling. The kiss was soft and tender at first, but when you pulled away from Stephen, his eyes were full of hunger. You could smell his intoxicating cologne on him, and your eyes wandered to his lips. You turned to face Stephen, closed the distance again, and kissed him again. Stephen's lips parted, and he let your tongue gently prob his. You wrapped your arms around his neck once again, and his hands roamed your curves as he pressed his body against yours.
A dizzying rush ran through your veins; your stomach was doing flips from the sensation of his hands touching you, and you felt a heat growing between your thighs. Stephen pulled away from the kiss, but the look in his eyes showed that he wanted more. His pupils dilated, and his cheeks flushed pink. He breathlessly said your name as his thumb rubbed your lower lip. "When was the last time that I made love to you?"
You couldn't form a sentence to answer him. Your mind was clouded in lust and need. God, you couldn't even remember the last time he touched you like this. Like a man that's been starving for years, and the only way he could get his fill was fucking you. You both have been busy with missions, and you have been distant because of the visions; you didn't even have time or the want to touch yourself.
You swallowed and wet your lips with your tongue. "IâŚdon't know." You murmured as you rubbed your legs together to feel a sort of stimulation on your clothed clit.
Stephen kisses you again and gestures with his hand to open a portal back to the bedroom. "Let's fix that then." He gently pushes you through the portal, and you land on the bed on your back as Stephen gets on top of you and the portal closes behind him. A primal fire sparked in his gaze as he drinks in the sight of your body.
Stephen kisses you again on your lips, but his kisses trail down your neck, then to your chest. He slips the spaghetti strap of your pajama shirt off your shoulder and teasingly lifts it off your breast. Your nipples harden from the cool air of your bedroom and in anticipation of being touched. "God, have I missed your body." He sighed as he cupped one of your breasts and started rubbing your nipple with his thumb as he nibbled on your earlobe.
You moaned from the simple touch, your back arching in need of him. Your clit throbs in want.
Your hand snakes down your shorts, passes your panties, and you start to caress it with your fingers to feel some stimulation finally. Stephen let out an arrogant chuckle, seeing you desperately touch yourself. "I barely started at your breast, and you are already wanting more." You could feel the smug smirk on his face. He lets go of your earlobe and starts biting and sucking on your neck as his other hand kneads your other breast, while he firmly rubs your nipples. Another moan escapes your lips as your pussy starts to get wet.
"I can't help it, StephenâŚmy body misses your touch so muchâŚ" Your breath hitches as you feel his teeth form another hickey on your neck.
Stephen kissed the newly formed hickey and lightly pinched your nipples, causing you to yelp from the sensation. "Then let me relieve your pent-up stress." He trailed kisses down your neck, to the valley of your breasts, your stomach, then finally to your clothed navel. Stephen shed off your shorts and panties with urgency, tossing them to the side, and looked at your succulent cunt with eager eyes. Your head was buzzing from arousal. You and Stephen had been married for years at this point, but making love with him always felt like it was the first time over and over again. You could never get sick of this, truthfully.
You spread your legs to welcome him in more. Stephen bit his lips as he flicked his tongue on your clit, slowly and deliberately circling his tongue around it.
You whimpered, and your body shuddered from the sensation. Your head fell back against the pillow, one hand gripping the bedsheets and the other raking through his hair. The pressure was already building up at the pit of your stomach. You hated that you were acting like a horny teenager, but fuck did Stephen know how to wild you up.
He keeps sucking the sensitive bud while his index and middle fingers rub up and down your slick folds. You let out a throaty groan as you felt one of his fingers finally enter you. Your fingers grip his hair as his fingers give shallow thrusts inside your quivering hole.
The lewd noises of your moans and your wet pussy echoed in the room. You thank the gods that Wong and Zelma were out at Kamar-Taj for a couple of weeks. You didn't want them to hear how you and Stephen get down and dirty. Stephen moaned into your pussy as he started lapping your slit and back up to your clit.
Sultry moans escape your lips as Stephen keeps playing with your cunt. You already felt like you were close to climaxing. It was all too much for you to handle. You wanted to squirt all over his face and stain his beard with your juices. "Stephen! Fuck! I'm gonna come!" You cried out as your stomach did flips.
But before you could come, Stephen quickly removed his face and fingers from your cunt. You whimper from the lost feeling of his tongue and fingers on you. Your clit and cunt throbs from the missing sensation. "WhyâŚwhy did you stop?" You groaned, your voice dipping in need.
Stephen smirks as he takes off his pants and boxers, his cock hard and erect. The tip is already leaking precum, twitching in want. "Because," He hooks both of your legs onto his muscular shoulders as he lines himself up to your entrance and leans near your ear. "I want you to come on my cock instead." With that, he slowly enters you with a choked moan, and you let out a sultry cry of his name, filling the room.
His breath hitches as he steadily moves his hips to let you adjust to his size before he increases the pace. Your slick hole was gripping around his cock, begging to be fucked by Stephen. You motion your hips to sink more into Stephen, giving him the signal to start moving. He nods and starts to thrust his thick cock into you as his hand grips your thigh. Both of your moans fill the room, as well as the lewd sounds of skin slapping against skin. Your eyes roll to the back of your head as you cry out Stephen's name.
God, have you missed the feeling of his cock inside you. This was all you needed. Nothing else mattered anymore. You couldn't think of anything else but Stephen and how his cock was stretching you out.
Stephen starts to pick up the pace, pumping in and out of you with feverish intent. He was also lost in the feeling of pleasure. He was grunting your name with each thrust. Stephen leans forward, positioning you down into the bed as he keeps your legs up on his shoulder. You felt so stretched out by how he was folding you and how he was practically hollowing out your pussy with each thrust he made.
No word came to your mind during this; you were a babbling mess. You dragged your nails down Stephen's back as he kept increasing the pace of his thrusts. "Stephen! Stephen!" You cried out to him as you felt the pressure in your stomach build up again. Your orgasm was rapidly approaching again, and Stephen didn't seem to be slowing down his thrusts. He was also really close to.
"Come inside me! Please! Fill me up! Fill my pussy with your cum!" You begged as your hands gripped his ass. Stephen groans from this, and his thrust became animalistic and feral. You howled as you finally felt sweet release and came all over his cock, screaming his name as your nails dig into his ass.
Stephen growls as he bites your neck once again as he empties himself inside you. You feel his hot cum spurt in thick ropes in your cunt. He lay still on top of you, panting as his cock softened. You let out a shaky breath, feeling full and lightheaded. You swore you saw stars when you came. You desperately needed this.
Stephen pulls his cock out with a wet plop and lies on his side as his cum leaks out of your hole. Your body slightly spasms as you lower your legs back on the bed. You definitely lost feeling in your legs and won't be able to walk properly for the next day.
"DearâŚthat was amazing." He panted.
You turn to him and smile lovingly at your husband. "You're amazing, my love."
Stephen gazed at you with an affectionate smile. He cups your face, gently drags your body against him as he passionately kisses you. You kiss back as you rake your fingers through his messy hair. When he pulls back from the kiss, he strokes your cheek as he kisses your forehead. "Please, my dearâŚnever hide things from me again." He pleads with heartfelt sincerity. "I know you didn't want to burden me with your visions, but we are not only a team together. But you are my wife. Your emotions and stress are my top priorities, as is protecting this world of ours."
You felt tears swell up in your eyes as you laid a hand on his.
"Whatever Doom is planning to throw at us, we will be ready to face it. Together." Stephen pulls you into another kiss.
Your heart flutters, and you give him a determined nod. "Yes...together. Always."
