This critter was in my dream last night and in my attempt to draw it out I kind of got carried away and make a whole sheet for it's species. I imagine it is a distant cousin to Afredima's species. Bonded pairs mate for life.

I’ve been absolutely in love with the shelter series on Steam. Particularly so, I’m interested in the social dynamic of ‘Meadow’. It’s basically an mmo with communication limited to a collection of emotes and you work together with others to find essence and unlock obelisks. It’s really interesting to see how people work together and understand through just some images that translate to basically all languages. (seriously go play it ) I was curious as to how it was translate to a comic since they already have little story books surrounding the shelter series. I especially wanted to explore comics with no text. The great thing about them is that it pushes your story telling abilities and can typically break any language barriers because it does not have the need for major translation.

This is only one page, but I do have an idea in my head if it were to be a full comic.

I’ve been playing around with making a tiny visual novel / dating sim. Here’s some backgrounds from this demo. Quite happy with them. I’d like to distribute a download of my trial once I fix the kinks.
