I got NYXI Hyperion 2 joycons for free in the mail by accident!
I ordered these on Aliexpress and swiftly canceled them after having a think about it. Apparently they were sent anyways. And you know what? I kinda hate them, actually, so bully on me for inadvertently saving $34 on an item sale that's generally priced at $80 to $90.
The ergonomics are very good, shoulder buttons are a crisp click, they're bundled with a bunch of good features, but they have goddamned Omron mouse-click buttons on both the directional buttons and ABXY. I abhor the feel of these specific Omron switches when used as joycon buttons, and they seem to be the same Omron switches as are used in the Mobapad M6 HD joycons I actually did buy with my own money, thought were horrible, and benched forever.
In all respects they are a lesser Mobapad set, having most of the same feature-set with none of the customizability (replaceable stick caps and d-pad module), no NFC connection, inferior rumble, and a similar price-point. In general feel and ergonomics I also find them a step down from the Hyperion Pro controller set which had rubber membrane ABXY buttons, a much shorter button throw on its d-pad, and had replaceable stick caps, all at a lower price.
If you're a mutant and want Omron mouse clicks for your buttons, buy the Mobapad M6 HD instead for a superior set of controllers at the same price, with a nearly complete feature-set compared to OEM except for the IR sensor.
