Plotting call!
Smol pinky 'bot. So smol. Could die.
An odd communication to receive from someone she did not recognize.
« I am not small. To whom do I speak? »
Night
sparkofcombination:
☀️ ;; With that, he could not agree more. “I do not believe we’ve been introduced; I am Optimus Prime. Who do I have the pleasure of sharing a grand sentiment with?”
“You bear the name of one who inspires hope; your people should look upon you with honor and love. I am Elita One, Councilor to the Prime of this world and friend to all those who value peace.”
sparkofcombination replied to your post: She believes in her people and their capacity for...
His spark just fluttered.
One’s spark should always flutter at the notion of freedom and peace.
She believes in her people and their capacity for righteous bravery despite the consequence.
She believes that for their society to heal, social justice should not be a performative act, as she has so many times witnessed, where individuals will portray themselves good and as though they are for everyone, yet are scheming, waiting to capitalize on the mistakes of others, too willing to sink knives into the spines of others for personal gain. They lurk, festering in spaces they have created to hide from those they accuse and wish to govern but do not want their opinions seen lest they reveal who they really are. Campaigns of hatred and fear cannot be nurtured; she will not stand for environments which foster division while manipulating others into believing they are one.
Take heed: THE WAR IS OVER BUT THEY ARE NOT ONE.
If the bitter spark ignited by flames of hatred cannot look upon one’s enemy with tolerance they are not one.
If the desire to indulge in grudges and besmirch reputations is greater than the ability to encourage freethinking and taking the time to understand they are not one.
If one is denied a voice or a place to express their creative, spiritual, or political freedoms by the many because of hatred they are not one.
If one’s personal sentiments become detrimental or worth more than those around them, inhibiting sworn duties to protect and defend they are not one.
If they cannot look upon one another and see an equal they are not one.
If one values deception over the ability to be genuine and trustworthy they are not one.
How it saddens her spark to know the list goes on, but she remains firm, knowing that while not all conflicts have a resolution, one day they might all be on the same side and disengage from friendly fire and illusions of vicariousness. And while she will fight for the light of all, those who try to steal her from her beliefs, to undermine her trust, to present themselves as false prophets will not know Elita One as a friend, but as a ferocity who will not be underestimated or taken for granted.
There is hope.
Until all are one.
So how did you join the fight? What's your history with the Autobots like? What made you decide to fight alongside Optimus Prime?
Though no one could see, Elita smiled at such curious inquisition, wondering what adventures one might experience within the span their lifetime by interesting their minds in everything. She wished to foster such thinking, to turn it away from the spectacle which seemed to be her existence and focus it on providence and the restoration of their world. Yet, the Councilor understood that someone of her prestige could not simply appear from the wraith of war without questioning. For so long in the minds of most, she had been dead, now unexpectedly returned.
« What fight do you speak of, anonymous? I have fought many battles. If you mean the Great War, I joined as many others did: with vengeance to save my home. »
As she spoke, her smile disappeared, memories of the war unable to conjure any bliss or happiness, only momentary flickers of sadness within her optics. Internally, she fought to trust, to give more than the words within her service record, knowing a world which only offered half-truths was not a world to nurture. Boldly, she offered more.
« I am aware there are stories of me, ideas of power I possess, but who I am is not what you have heard or may believe. I was a member of Sentinel Prime’s council when Orion Pax and Megatron were given audience before us. I heard Orion’s ideas for a nonviolent means of achieving autonomy over the bellowing echoes of Megatron’s anger. In my spark, I joined the fight then, pledging myself to the righteousness of his visionary hope.
« My history with the Autobots is nearly as old as the existence of the cause, though my achievements are hardly noteworthy. After Orion Pax became Optimus Prime, I helped him learn to fight and adjust to his new frame. Fighting alongside him, it was not a decision. Though the time was brief, it was my greatest honor. »
I am not sorry for following the fire or ripping the extinguisher from your ashy hands. Without you, I can rise. Without you, I will ignite.

indie transformers: prime elita one
What is something that you want to do to change the world?
An expression of sadness overcame her features, and silently, Elita mourned the loss of a world that never came to be despite how she had dreamed and believed in the light inside all Cybertronians. Still, there was hope, and as long as hope existed, she would fight for what she knew their home could be. Now was not the time to mourn, but to rebuild, to reignite the fires of freedoms which had been lost.
Elita clenched a fist to her chest. « I want to inspire hope; to do as I was created and teach the merits of virtue, justice, love, and equality. Such values are not just for the few, but for everyone. I will protect those who foster peace; those who do not will be punished by the ire of justice. We have suffered enough. »
Do you have any secrets?
Having operated under the pretense of secrecy for millennia, Elita knew the majority of her existence was obscure, shrouded with rumor and mystery. The inquirer may have thought the question simple, though the Councilor saw the layers of ambiguity.
« ...Yes, I have secrets. »
But Elita believed this question to be a matter of intention in hopes that she might share something personal to her. So she smiled, resting a servo upon her hip as she shifted her weight.
« Between you and me, anonymous, my favorite color is pink. I find it empowering. I hope your color scheme makes you feel powerful too. »
