Raven looked at the women wondering if she was right things ever since the snapped seemed to be completely strange in a way no one was used to. “True, but I rather hoped we’ve found peace finally.” She replied before shrugging “ its alright I talk very little I’m sure we can find common ground. I think we are supposed to ensure that the locals and people who stayed behind stay safe and if need be protect them”
Peace. That would be a nice way of saying things. It didn’t seem like that for her, though. She liked her life. Bad days and everything. “Oh, I see.” Courtney chuckled to herself and looked down. “I used to stay behind and keep people safe because I was told so. It’s funny how I do that now because I’m actually kinda good at it.”
Roy had made the quick decision to stay on the alien planet as some sort of inexperienced recon. His friends all wanted to go play intergalactic warrior, but Roy was more than content to stay at home, a few monitors and a headset supplied to him. He was pretty good at this, considering he has gotten no calls at all so far. Maybe he should consider a career in stuff like this. Get a cool name like..prophet. Roy was snapped out of his thoughts when a broken up message came over his headset.
“What was that? Hello? Is everything alright?” He asked, sitting straight as an arrow.
“DAMN IT!” Courtney said when her communicator fell to the ground. She was just starting to roll her eyes at herself for being so clumsy when she felt it again: the earth was freaking shaking! She picked up the headset and tried to say it calmly, although she was certain her voice was as steady as the ground below her.
“Okay so I don’t know how much you know about alien planets and such, but unless earthquakes are freaking common over here, I’m pretty sure we’re under attack.”
Kalix heard when the door was pushed open, not leaving his seat for a few seconds as he finished taking notes of a new species of plant he had found some days ago. His favorite part of being a botanist was that Meraviglia had too much flora to study and he could keep himself busy all the time. “I wouldn’t touch that one. Beautiful, but highly toxic.” Said when he walked towards the person, a possible client or maybe just someone who wanted to see the plant sanctuary. “Can I help you with something?”
“Right. Toxic plants. What’s the point anyway.” Court chuckled a bit and sat beside the boy, smiling a little at him. “Nope. You already warned me about the deadly flower, what else could I ever ask of you?”
She wasn’t the best at starting conversations, and could get a little socially awckward sometimes, especially after dying and spending a year in an alien planet. “I’m Courtney. Aaaand I hope I’m not interrupting or anything.”
Raven was astonished when the Queen’s broadcasted that a neighboring planet was suffering due to what had happened with the Queens and Krunul. Being a hero she was quite used to things like people picking someone else to pay for your mistakes. But the fact of the matter is that something this serious and planned could’ve happened so close to their new home worried her. Instead of volunteering though she chooses to stay behind just in case. the People of Mera were able to hold their own so long as a choice few stayed behind to protect them. She sighed looking up at the sky as she did normally when thinking of the people who’d taken off no so long ago. “Do you think they will be okay?” she whispered to the person next to her.
Courtney fought the urge to shrug and looked down instead. She sighed before looking at the other. “I honestly don’t know. This is just crazy. Before all this I never thought I’d die because someone snapped their fingers, but then here I am.” It didn’t take long before she realized she’d said a little too much. “Sorry. I tend to keep talking when I’m nervous. What are we supposed to do here anyway?”
hey, don’t they look an awful lot like Maddie Hasson? But according to our files, they are Courtney Whitmore, otherwise known as Stargirl, from DC. Our records tell us they are a nineteen year old female using she/her pronouns. I’ve heard they can be funny, but also stubborn and that they are a hero. They perished at the hands of Thanos.
HOW LONG HAS YOUR MUSE BEEN ON MERAVIGLIA?
About a year ago. In fact, I don’t think I was the only one, y’know.
DID YOUR MUSE ‘DIE’ WHEN THANOS SNAPPED HIS FINGERS?
Yep. Sounds fun? Not to me.
IF YES, HOW DID THEY REACT TO THEIR ‘DEATH’?
Awesome. Seriously, just fantastic. How ‘bout you die and tell me what you think about it?
IF THEY ‘DIED’ IN THE SNAP, WHAT HAVE THEY BEEN UP TO IN THE PAST YEAR ON MERAVIGLIA?
Pretty much what there is to do here. Think and miss people.
HOW HAVE THEY HANDLED / HOW WILL THEY HANDLE INTERACTING WITH THE LOCALS?
They’re fine, I guess. Sometimes I miss ice cream and chocolate like a regular person, and talking to my friends, but it’s not like I can’t make friends here. Right?
ANYTHING ELSE YOU’D LIKE TO TELL US ABOUT YOUR MUSE?
Stargirl found her stepdad’s belt and staff when she was only a teenager and since then became the hero Stargirl, taking over the legacy of the Starman. It hasn’t always been easy being a teenager among adults and having all that responsability on her shoulders, but she’s strong and persistent!
(She’s my bby since forever and I’m so excited about roleplaying her! If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask!!)
