I don’t know if you have already been asked this before but which is your favorite Atla character and why?

When I first watched the show, I loved Toph (still do!) because she was such a strong girl and used her disability to her greatest advantage. I loved that she didn’t take crap from anyone and did what she wanted. One of the things that moved me was that she was the only one in the group who was mature enough to understand that even villains could be listened to to hear their side of the story and showing forgiveness to those who who do wrong (forgiving Zuko for burning her feet even though she is unable to “see”).

After rewatching the show, Aang actually became my favorite character. I don’t think I realized as a kid that Aang was actually supposed to murder the Firelord. So when I saw the final episode where he restrains from seriously harming his opponent and not choosing the options that his friends have given him and eventually making his own distinct choice, I realized that he was my favorite :)
