Day 19 - 40 Days of Prayers and Devotion

The Shaking of God's Church (2) A caring mom approaches little Johnnie and says, son, if you keep reaching for that burner, it's going to harm you...the curious Johnnie, eventually touches the burner and proves mom right! Likewise, Jesus healed the sick and asked them not to publicize their fortune of being restored and made whole...the overjoyed goes and does the opposite and a throng of people come seeking after Christ. God commanded that the fruit be not eaten else you will surely die...Eve goes and does the opposite, and today we live to die...! Obedience! To submit or conform in ACTION to (guiding principle, rule, conscience); this is a typical definition suggesting that to obey is an action and/or decision to do according to your choice of guiding principles. So then, the shaking of God's Church, is it for those who through their daily baptism, their daily acceptance of righteousness(Christ's) to do God's will, like obeying Him from their heart, or, is it for those that see 'Thou Shalt Not' only so that, They Shalt?

Covenant SDA Church Men's Ministry host "Man in the Mirror" this Sabbath morning at 184000 Sheridan Street, Pembroke Pines. Then again at 6pm service. On Sunday the men meet for breakfast at the cottage. All men are welcome and bring a friend.

Let Jesus In ...that still small voice, calling on you, won't you Let Him In? Though the focus in these forty days is the outpouring of the holy spirit, the bible stories and lessons are still tied to how God reaches out to us. His focus has always been reconciliation, bringing mankind back into harmony with Him. Harmony with Him means that we remain connected to Him. It means obedience from the heart, for the love and desire to serve a just God. It further implies a relationship frought with failures and successes. One where we've fallen and did get up! One where we witnessed grace at work. One where it was not out of place to question the God of the universe and ask why me? Yes, a relationship where trust was established not because it looked good, but because it was tested, tried, wrestled with, even unto near death, as with Jacob... It is through this relationship and established trust that the voice indeed pleads, Let Jesus In...

Day 12 - 40 Days of Prayer and Devotion

The Church's Laodicean Condition There's no immediate inspiration for the Laodicean church member because he is in need of nothing. He or she is in a comfortable position. Prayers are for the needy, the heavy burdened, the forsaken but not for the Laodicean. It requires great courage and introspection to call or check yourself if you're a procrastinator. Because he or she has such confidence in their abilities to get specific tasks done, allotted minimum time at the last moment is sufficient to perform the task at hand. But is the Laodicean a procrastinator or could a procrastinator be a kind of Laodicean? The five foolish virgins were procrastinators. They knew that oil was required, that it was low, that a last minute dash could fill their lanterns, so in complacency they waited. Because our knowledge doesn't save us, neither will our abilities, we should patiently yield to that still small voice that knocks on the doors of our heart.

Day 10 - 40 Days if Prayer and Devotion

A Prophetic Sequence of Events Part 2 As our hearts are being prepared for eternity, the great deceiver, Satan, is also monitoring our transformation, 'seeking whom he may devour' ! For this very reason, additional prophetic SOE's were put in place to warn mankind, keep us on edge with prose and narratives to enlighten us. The Lord whom ye seek shall suddenly come to his temple; who shall stand when he appeareth?; for he's like a refiner's fire, and like fuller's soap...he shall purify the sons of Levi and purge them as silver and gold...; At the end of the day, SOEs gives us information we would otherwise not have. It's another facet of God's love that encourages us to take another look at ourselves. Another opportunity to willfully consent to Christ's plea to enter your heart so his righteousness can work wonders on our behalf.

Day 9 - 40 Days of Prayer and Devotion

Day 9: A Prophetic Sequence of Events On a power line grid, there exists a maze of relaying monitoring and protection and computer sophistication to track every sequence of event(SOE) that causes an outage. If a transmission line is 100 miles long, there isn't enough man power to watch each inch of that line, especially in inclement weather. With every dip in electricity or loss of power, a computer issues an SOE log that itemizes where and why a problem occurred... With prophetic SOE's, we are fortunate to know when, where, how and why outages in life take place, long before they occur. In spite of bad weather, loss of life, limited man power, we have an advocate and comforter in the holy spirit, and foreknowledge of a just God. He prepares our hearts for eternity. He shrouds our every move through a monitoring system checked and proofed by the holy spirit on a daily basis. So then the calamities and harrowing events are SOEs signaling the soon return of Christ and the hope of the beginning of an eternal life of joy, peace and tranquility!

The Judgment As the saying goes, there are two things in life that are sure, taxes and death! Today, the third is The Judgment. It sounds intimidating but it's way better than taxes and defies death. It's actually an act of surety, recording your choices for life! In the courthouse of heaven, Christ's righteousness and our faith in Him, becomes our defense. Through our daily spiritual baptism, daily struggles and victories over temptation, our choices are solidified, recorded and sealed in Love. So consider that the transforming of our hearts, our impulses, the refining of our will in doing and delighting in Christ's service, eventually establishes a life of continual obedience. Through Christ, we then anticipate The Judgment, for the sentencing will always be for Life Eternal!

Day 7 - 40 Days of Prayer and Devotion

Let Christ Live Out His Righteous Life in You Job was fully grounded in His God wasn't He? When Satan sought to challenge God, God removed the "winds of strife" as it were, but to save Job's life. God had full confidence in Job that he would withstand the onslaught of Satan. As we daily submit ourselves to the Holy Spirit, and maintain faith in the righteousness of Christ within us, we too become Job Icons. It's at this time that God's confidence in us will be exercised, thus once again releasing the winds of strife, ushering in the last day events.

Day 6 - 40 Days of Prayer and Devotion

The Promise of the Spirit Because God is Creator of the universe, all that He does is done in a systematic, consistent and transparent manner. Christ would always defer to the scriptures(the old testament ie) as ...the fulfillment of, or that it would come to pass; an example of continuity between the Father and the Son. Likewise, the baptism of the spirit was no stand-alone event. It too was a promise by God, thus fulfilling the prophecy (a promise of things to come) by the Creator Himself. Do you partake of this promise daily?

Day 5 - 40 Days of Prayer & Devotion

The term seal, has many meanings. It can be used as a verb many times over or a noun equally. However, the two definitions of interest today are, a symbol of significance, and something worthy of being held as a secret. So our Seal of interest has importance but it is kept a secret, though not for very long! A father went walking with his two year old daughter, LG, as she drove her toy jeep down the neighborhood street. Having done this walk-a-drive many times before, LG knew that dad would b inches at most a couple feet away from her. However, this particular morning, LG wanted independence to rove around freely and confidently requested that dad not follow on this trip and to stay put...LG drives a few yards then looks back, drives a few more yards, looks back and reminds dad to stay put... In reflection of that story, both father and daughter had developed a trusting relationship. Driving skills were improved, dad would always be present...so it is with our heavenly father. Through our daily relations with Him, He transfers His Glory, which is His character, into our hearts, and like a symbol of secrecy, seals His Love effortlessly within you. Do you have that relationship with your Father, is he sealed within you? Ask for it... daily.

Expecting parents, for nine months, await the birth of their first child with great expectation! At delivery, all is well and the inspection of likeness to each parent begins. She has your eyes, my lips. Look at her fingers, those are definitely yours…

Emblems that seals ones identity and origin. To whom do you belong? That we are all formed in the image of our Creator, if that’s your belief, we belong to Him. However, we have all sinned and led astray like Adam and Eve.

Through years of reconciliation, forgiveness of sin, renunciation of slavery, a correction tool used throughout the history of mankind, a compassionate Father has revealed Himself, His Glory, His Character, His Mercy and Loving Kindness. He can personally transform your heart and mind by writing the character codes one mystery at a time. The question is, will you let Him, will you allow Him to seal His spirit within you? Without your permission, you could prohibit the hand of the Almighty God. Would you do that? Could you really do that?

Day 3 - 40 Days of Prayer & Devotion

With earth's final days approaching and irrefutable signs populate the entire globe, who will then stand and endure? Each time the president of the United States travels, his visit is preceded by security checks and tours way in advance of his visits. When he finally arrives his entourage of secret service personnel, lead vehicles, sheriff escorts, marked and unmarked, announces his coming and virtually no one is able to penetrate the wall of protection designed around the president. Similarly, Christ's return, in His glory, accompanied by the heavenly host of angels, will be heralded with pomp and circumstance, to celebrate the final eradication of sin and the great Deceiver. The faithful ones that passed away will rise first to meet him, then the faithful living. But those that were unprepared shall have lived in great fear and terror, seeking safety at any cost in the harshest of environments. Be ready to stand and seal your fate today by getting to know you heavenly Father!

Earths Final Events

A commercial building owner purchased a property on a rural highway that later became a major thru way in a town in Orlando. His first order of business was to install a sign. He purchased a damaged two seater airplane, brought it to his complex and hoisted it upside down in between the double flanged building, suspended in the air from strategically placed strings. That was his IRREFUTABLE SIGN. Today twenty years later, it remains as one of the busiest commercial sites in Orlando! The earth is suspended by unseen hands of gravity and electro magnetic forces. The unseen mystery of our Creator who, in his majesty and awesome power, has strategically placed with love, irrefutable signs to prepare those who know him for the final days of our planet earth. Its no biggie that knowledge has increased, that mankind runs to and fro. But alas, it is!As information transfer metastasizes more than ever before and travel to and fro becomes virtually untraceable...so God has forewarned those that know him...seal the book, even to the end of time!

The toll bell rings as earth's final days draw nigh. Can u hear it? Do u recognize it? If not, why not? Or, have you become complacent, that the blaring warning sounds of danger no longer creates that sense of urgency within you? Consider that the God of our universe reveals His secrets to those who serve Him, those who receive a daily, constant in- filling of His Holy Spirit. Are you prepared? Are you ready? Or are you just knowledgeable and now complacent. Reserve ur early mornings, and your heart for a little talk with your Maker...He will temper your knowledge and vigilance, preparing you for earth's final day events!
