“We both know that you loath me, so cut the caring shit.” Ryan replied with a roll of his eyes. “I’m a nightmare misapprehend to be a daydream.”

“I didn’t ask for your fucking opinion!” Ryan snapped. “Now... Come here.”
“No don’t apologize. I know how you feel..Trust me I know how you feel..It’s how I feel most of the time.” She shrugged her shoulders gently. She sighed as she moved over so she could get into the passenger seat of his car. “When you have a bad day it’s best if you talk to someone.”
Ryan sighed and looked over to Natasha as she joined him in the car. Turning it on he allowed the A/C to blow, ignoring the fact she might not need it, and turned on the radio but lowered the volume. “I don’t think I can talk about it without getting too emotional... I can’t dry in front of you. I’ll lose all respect.” He chuckled humorlessly.

“Good…now….if you repeat even a word I will rip out your spinal column and leave it flopping about in the street. Understood?”
“Yes, daddy.” Ryan smiled lovingly. “Is this were we hug and become a happy family? Because in a year or two I’ll be too old to be a cool older brother.... Just putting it out there. Okay.”

Ben sobered. “He’s mine. He doesn’t care if I am an asshole. He doesn’t care if I’m not romantic. He doesn’t care if I am in a daily fight with my own inner demons. He isn’t forced to be with me as part of a familial obligation. He is what I wish I could be…I want to be better..for him.”
Swallowing his uncharacteristic emotion he snarled. “Happy now?”
“Yeah. I am... Because you love my dad even though you seem like the type that’ll never admit it...” Ryan smiled. “That right there is enough for me.”
In a coffee shop
Lance looked over at the man with slight amusement “You would let such a thing alter your day?”
“Welcome to the world of Ryan Coventry.... Where any small unscheduled thing sets me off.”
“Mmm hmm it’s a saying..” she shrugged her shoulders before she quickly shook her head. “Nope. Don’t need a ride. I just wanted to see if you are alright.”
“No, Tasha, I’m not alright.... I woke up this morning and realized I have no purpose? No one should wake up feeling like they have no reason at all to be around... As if I’m just a floating extra... An extra mistake.” He said finally looking at her, all cried out. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have laid that on you like that... I’m having a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.”
“Why so glum sugar plum” she lowered herself as he let down his window.
“Sugar plum?” Ryan chuckled humorlessly. “Right...”
“Do you need a ride home or something?”
Wincing at the loud honking she leaned against the car. “Hey..how about you stop that and you talk to me.”
Lifting his head Ryan sighed then let down his window. Sighing loudly again he turned his attention toward Natasha. “Yes?”
Walking past the young vampire froze when she saw him in his care. “Are you alright?”
Ryan groaned loudly and dropped his head on the horn. The loud honking surprisingly soothed his headache.

After a moment he shrugged. “He’s got a nice arse and soft hair.”
In a coffee shop
“Poor girl.” He noted, leaning forward to pick up his drink from the coffee table in front of the sofa he occupied. “Still, it could happen to anyone” He said before taking a sip
“It can...” Ryan said still in a state of mild shock. “Well, my day have been set off track.” Ryan open his wallet and threw a large bill on the table for a tip.
Moved by the wizard’s thoughtfulness, Thomas took his face and place a small peck on his lips. “Thank you….truly. This is by far the most thoughtful gift I’ve ever received.”
At his laugh, Thomas wrinkled his nose. He then had to kiss him again. “You are darling…come let us not waste a single moment.”
Ryan took a deep in take before tugging on Thomas shirt as if wanting more. “Your welcome... It was the least I could do...”
“Thomas...” Ryan smile into the kiss but quickly moved forward when it ended to place one of his own. “Okay. I’ll come with you. I think I can teleport us there.”
