It is INSANE that it is taking 6+ weeks just to find out the truth in what happened to Nolan Wells.
The ignorant people that are yelling out he was drunk and he drowned are missing the entire point on why people have questions about Nolan’s death.
Not just because of the horrible history of Mississippi, but also because there were too many things that just did not add up. I don't care what race you are, if this situation happened in ANY type of friend group, people are going to be suspicious of the friends automatically.
• The “friends” said that he stayed back with some girl that they didn't know. 🤔
• The girl later coming forward saying that Nolan told her he was going to ride back to the mainland with his friends. 🤔
• The “friends” keeping his phone and car keys instead of just bringing it to his parents. His parents had to track it to get it for themselves. 🤔
• His body washing up on Horn island 2 days after he was reported missing. 🤔
• The sheriff prematurely saying that it appears Nolan drowned and they do not suspect foul play. 🤔
• Warren’s stepmom, Ashlee Cole, putting out a statement regarding the case, before the investigation could be complete. Conflict of interest? 🤔
• The state autopsy withholding his lungs and throat. The independent autopsy came back undetermined, because they did not have all of his body parts to examine. 🤔
• The Sea Tow Call that Wyatt made. Even before Jeanetta Brantley did the enhanced audio on the Sea Tow call, it was still suspicious. Why call and say that your boat is sinking 17 ft or 31 ft deep and then deny the services if you're “going down” in the ocean? 🤔
• The “friends” having the unmitigated gall to start their own “Give send go” for legal help. 🤔
• The optics press run that these “friends” have been making (then exclusively to the far right social media influencers at that). Why are they doing interviews to paint themselves as the victims when they should be advocating on finding out what happened to their “brother”? 🤔
• The “friends” blaming Nolan’s mom for why the media turned it into a “race thing” because of the photo she shared of the last set of people that she was told Nolan was with. 🤔
• Warren’s dad putting up a $50,000 reward for any information on what happened to Nolan AFTER Nolan’s family already had an award out for $125,000. 🤔
• The “friends” going back to the island a month later to do a memorial for Nolan. Again an optics thing. 🤔
I truly hope that Nolan’s parents will be able to properly grieve soon. I hate that they can not get straight answers on what happened to their child and have been getting nothing but the runaround. 🙏🏾
IF there is a cover-up in what happened to Nolan, may ALL (top to bottom) of those involved not have ANY peace.
