Team Review
As an overall experience I don’t think this was the most successful team work ever, however, the outcome was interestingly better than what I expected. From the beginning I had said I thought a group of 7 would be too much and I must say I still stand by that statement, because as a whole group we only ever had two meetings/gatherings, which meant most of our communication was done through a group chat, making efficiency more complicated.
Key moments that I found were not best examples of team work were the following: not listening to each others ideas; various moments where Leah would not be present yet would question our ideas through the group chat in what felt like a rude manner; the lack of work from Zain (understandably she is in Paris for the presentation but still could have worked on it before), from what I know she developed a poorly done consumer research, a few mood boards and picked up clothes for the photoshoot; and Joe who last minute kept changing the layout me and Holly had worked on without asking or telling.
The only reason I am focusing so much on the negative moments is because I see it as poor effort from some members while others worked harder on things and actually created a pitch that was successful.
