Eep my coworker has a not date on Friday and She asked me to go with. And now I’m freaking out bc I’m that weird human that never says the right thing and I don’t want to make her look bad

So I ate an edible a couple weeks ago and had a terrible trip. Like holy fuck I legit thought I was dying and if I died no one would know. And while that thought at the time was scary- I was more concerned about my cat than myself.

And as I was in bed hallucinating having the worst time ever it really put things into perspective like how being sexually assaulted (more than once) and getting ran over by a horse, and having my ptsd flare up was more scary than a bad trip. Like almost being kidnapped more than once didn’t even make the cut for top 3 scariest things to have ever happened. Nope. Sexual assault, getting ran over, bad trip.

And the worst part or best part idk is that this horrible experience is funny to me. Like I spent the past week laughing about it. Laughing about how I was dying, that I couldn’t call anyone to tell them to come help me, laughing about how if I had died no one would know to look for me- like it’s not funny but omg yes it is. I definitely do not want to relive that night ever again or trip ever again because it was scary and I did not enjoy it. 0/10 would not recommend to a friend.

Oh and Will Kelly I hope you burn in hell 💕

THE THING 1982 | John Carpenter Rob Bottin worked seven days a week for over 13 months straight to create the landmark special creature effects seen in The Thing. The only effect he was not directly involved in was the dog in the beginning of the film, due to the fact that the then-22 year old was hospitalized at the end of production due to exhaustion.

If you have not seen John Carpenter’s “the thing” you’re sleeping on a fantastic scary fucking movie. And it’s scary because there’s this creature that can take the form of its victims- no one in the film knows who’s been infected/killed/or had their identity stolen. And nothing is scarier than paranoid men. The special effects are top notch and ugh it’s so good. And I need a tattoo of that huskies face being split open

Tw: if you don’t like the idea of dogs dying (even tho they’re puppets- like actual puppets) you might want to skip this movie.
