@cowboy-captain liked for a starter!
Little was more irritating to the Imperial Princess then having to stop at odd little watering holes to fuel her ship. By ship, I mean full Imperial Cruiser. On the way to a diplomacy mission in the next system over it had (Unfortunately) ran out of fuel. Imperial Cruisers were rarely seen, especially this BIG of a cruiser. So she’d been questioned…repeatedly by local law enforcement, and she did her best with what limited English she knew to explain that ‘No, I’m not here to take over I just need fuel, and I’ll leave’. They were allowing civilians on board….at least the few who demanded to see the captain. Frankly, she was a bit tired…but one more couldn’t hurt could it? “Hello…how may I assist?”
(Gonna be rolling with Lylatian Rob if that’s cool with you!)
Rob was a curious cat, as the saying goes - and he had a tendency to put his nose into business just for its own sake. When a royal looking star cruiser from a foreign system parked itself on the Papetoon fringe of Lylat, he just happened to be in the area and could not resist being nosy about it all. So he half-bluffs his way on board, arguing with security and protocol along the way with interest in seeing the captain of this beautiful and unusual vessel.
What he wasn’t expecting was a fellow felinoid... one that towered over him by a good foot in height. He blinked, looking upwards at her in surprise.
“....Whoa! Hey! Erm... I s’pose yer the captain of this beautiful boat, yeah? Aheh.... eh. Robert Monroe’s the name! Freelancing is the game!”, he says boldly as possible, which is hard to do when you’re craning your neck upright.
